I have a 2011 toyota camry LE. I already have a k&n air filter. Should I get the cat back exhaust or the trd exhaust?

TRD axle back exhaust. To make a better sound with the TRD, get a 23” cherry bomb glasspack. And it’s gonna be much better

I love TRD stuff, but this is just a filter with a fancy box, just put a k/n filter and you have the same results

K&N has bigger holes in their filter medium which allows more particles into the engine. Look into it bro, I highly suggest to stay away from k&n

@@seanturpin01 You’re correct, project farms did tests on micro particles and K&N performed terrible, I believe Wix performed best.

I’ve been using k&n filters in all my vehicles for over 20 years with no issues, I believe this trd filter is just a k&n product specially manufacturer for Toyota, just like magnuson manufacture supercharger’s for Toyota a while ago

Best exhaust out there for the Tacoma in my opinion. Recently installed mine and well is sings very nicely🎶. Shout out to the guys at TRD!

Did you just install it and its good to go? No tune needed right? I am planning on getting both the TRD intake and exhaust as well

@@brianskies yea I installed it myself. No tune I do also have a k&n installed on the truck which improves the air flow with the exhaust. And yes I’ve seen the difference mpg increase, seems to accelerate better, and of course more sound😆

Approximately how much horsepower and torque does this intake and exhaust add? Why doesn't TRD provide these estimates?

Because an exhaust without a tune would add such a miniscule amount of power, if any at all, that it's not worth mentioning.

Does the filter have better filtration than the k&n ? I’ve seen the tests done to those k&n and id like to keep my truck for the long run. Im sure they’re rebadged but at the same time Toyota wouldn’t put their name on something bad right? 🤔

TRD is waste of $, buy stock V6 and add your personal equipment, everyone has been doing it for 30 years, Toyota just figured it out there are lazy people that want to buy expensive upgrades.

TRD parts don't max out your injectors or throw off the MAF. They run off of the factory tune, are as durable as OEM, and despite not requiring a tune, they do still increase performance in various ways. That's why people buy them. I personally wouldn't buy the TRD exhaust, but I can understand why some people would.

Kalash Nikov I personally choose trd products if I can for the reasons you mentioned. The trd products are specially made for the toyota trucks like the Tacoma and 4Runner. There are great aftermarket stuff out there but it’s just a piece of mind.

yeah right buy a trd ebay radiator cap for 12 bucks than buy a trd oem radiator cap for 55 bucks and see the diffrence. the ebay doesnt fit right and cut the plastic. the trd oem has the exact pressure and fitment along with seals
