Thank this helped me because I didn’t know what type of lisp I tried counting like she did and I heard my toung ue going in between my numbers and I felt my tongue being in the front and felt my tongue touching my front two teeth which that’s why I talk so sloppy this helped thx u for helping me with this problem ☺️
We actually paused her myo as she went through expansion for a year and she's back in it now with one of the therapists on my Little Sprout team and correcting that lisp through myo! :) It's going really well.
Hello there! I had a question, how many days did it take your daughter before she noticed a difference with the lisp being gone? I also have a frontal lisp that I am working on too and I tired this technique and I can feel the air coming out the sides of me mouth too so I am just curious as to how long it takes before noticing a difference?
It took us a few months but returned when we did expansion and changed the space her tongue was able to rest and make contact with her palate so we had to address it again.
@@monicsala6639 sorry I missed this! We are seeing an airway centric dentist- they often do earlier expansion than your traditional orthodontists. They can be harder to locate.
@@monicsala6639 she needed more lateral growth as her teeth were still crowded and her baby teeth weren’t falling out/permanent teeth weren’t coming in! With expansion this changed :) She also needed to bring her lower jaw forward a bit more
My daughter has same issue and her upper jaw has come forward. She has autism and non verbal. Can you please recommend how to get rid of this habit of her.
