@@FastMonty I thought you pointed out on the passenger side of the trans where the speedo hooks up. You even mentioned having either electric or mechanical..
@@darinandalinahouse9596 Thanks Brother! Yeah, apparently when you reach 10k subscribers, the feature gets activated. I had no idea that was a perk... ha, ha... Hope to see you around on more videos... thanks again!
@@FastMonty yeah you will. I need to fix some chips (a lot 😂) in the paint and a exhaust leak (maddening). I’ve been creepin on both those videos of yours. 👍🏻
Monty. Can you do a video on how to secure the reverse lockout arm on the end of the steering column once you install the 5 speed? People say you bolt it to the firewall but I’m not sure
Monty, another question. Did the light blue/black pigtail for the neutral safety connector come with your kit from SST? I ordered my kit through SST as well and I didn’t receive one.
@@FastMonty yes you did. I’m wondering if I need to bother. I mean, I never had one in my Muncie and never missed it. When your driving a standard it automatic to put your foot on the clutch at a stop or not in motion. At least it is for me.
@@darinandalinahouse9596 Yeah, it's a safety for starting. The GTO won't start unless you have the clutch down. So, that's why I didn't use it. If you're the only person who will ever drive your car, you probably won't need it. But, just in case some knuckle head tries to start it, while in gear, it won't start. (Obviously it has to be wired through the key start circuit) Hope that helps.
