Tress of The Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson | a straight up book review 

That little llama parade at the intro was adorable. Love that Sanderson got the idea from his wife.

That first shot put an instant smile on my face, loved the scenery and loved the llama's walking through it even more haha. I've been thinking to read this book since you recommended it, so will come back for the spoiler part of the book later 😅 aand big fan of subtle little details and easter eggs in any form of media!!

Awesome book review! I enjoyed this book quite a bit.

I haven't read any Sanderson yet. I've got some of his books, but they're a bit daunting due to the length. I'll probably get around to them sometime. My main reaction is to another book completely. I'm almost done with the Family Fang. And when I finish, I'll probably just put my comments in that actual video. But, wow! I'm not done, but I must say that I can't see the ending could make me totally change my mind on the book, whatever it may be. I honestly don't know how this book isn't more widely known! I know it's got awards, but I had never even heard of Kevin Wilson before! I'm glad you recommended this one. In a strange way, at this point in my life, it's been having kind of a profound effect on me. I don't want to waste hours telling my backstory on a post that has nothing to do with the book. But it's been making me think a lot. And in a good way. I've felt out to sea for a while now and this book has made me take a look at myself and maybe realize that I'm not as far out as I thought. Good stuff! I'll say more when I finish, but this has been a great experience! Maybe the wait was good because it might not have hit as hard if I had read it when I was prepared to.
