@Marc Carran Walaykumusalām bro! brothers and sisters are from a time ago making street dawah in a place in the centre of Santiago, it's going pretty well and many people has been reverted to Islam Mashallah, but we are still a minority. And regarding Everton match of today is against Melipilla, and the last match it's against Universidad Catolica, one of the two teams battling to win the championship. Everton also is going to Copa Libertadores de America, one of the most important international cups, so I guess they are doing pretty well!

@Marc Carran Mashallah bro! I'm a fan of Universidad de Chile, one of the most important clubs here, but right now due to negligent managing they're about to descend to second division. Today's match is by far, the most important in years, if they lose, they fall but I hope that today they are able to win Inshallah! Because of my job I wouldn't be able to go to the masjid and soon I will Inshallah! And I will make dawah wherever I can. May Allah protects you and your family and make us stronger in our Iman, amīn

The literal translation ‘now the camel has come down from the top of the mountain. But the real meaning refers to a stubborn person finally given in, bowing down or agreeing to others.
@lt1111ification
@lt1111ification 2 года назад
This old saying derives from a folk tale of a camel that became arrogant. The camel walks with its head held high so that its gaze is over and above most things and this led the camel to believe that it alone was the tallest creature on Earth and that nothing else was greater than it. Its owner took it to a mountain one day and seeing the vast height of the latter the camel realised that it wasn’t so big after all. Therefore when someone is cut down to size or taken down a peg or two from his conceited and arrogant perch it is referred to in Hindi as the camel having been brought down below the mountain.

There are 5 times as many chili recipes as there are cooks. I'm pretty sure that's a proverb or truism. Hehe... I myself have several recipes / variants, and can improvise up a good chili or chili-adjacent meal, depending on what I have on hand... And "Chili" is very forgiving and relatively hard to completely screw up unless one is completely incompetent. ;) And no one way is the "right way." That's the great thing about it. Plenty of room for all varieties, levels of spicy, different meats, vegetarian chilis, tex-mex, southwestern, etc.

Maybe a garnish of sour cream and a little raw scallion sliced over the top. Going to make a big pot of this soon, to get through the busy holiday season. Hey putting down my home town there guys Cincinnatis skyline chili it great , you have to mix it all up so you get all the flavors in it you should have given them a cheese coney to go with it then maybe they would have love it . & a quick FYI , I don’t live to far from where the first Skyline chili was just a 3 minute walk up my street or a 30 second trip by car , since then Skyline moved to a new location about 3 minutes by car or 8 minutes walking .

No, it's called three-way chili (mostly served at Skyline restaurants). 3-way is spaghetti, chili, cheese.... 4-way is spaghetti, chili, cheese, and onions OR beans..... 5-way is spaghetti, chili, cheese, onions AND beans. Yes, Cincinnati is a city, Ohio is the state in which Cincinnati resides.

@@jbashore3468 Nope. Native Cincinnatian here. I agree with sstimac. Skyline Chili is the restaurant where the recipe for Cincinnati Chili was developed. It is served as a 3 Way=spaghetti, chili, cheese. A 4-Way=spaghetti, chili, cheese, beans or onions, 5-Way=spaghetti, chili, cheese, beans, onions. You can also order a bowl of chili with no spaghetti. I also love Cheese Coney=hot dog with chili and cheese on a bun. Chili Cheese Sandwich, same as Coney with no dog. Each and every selection a masterpiece. If you don't agree, check out their website.

In Texas, USA, they have a saying: "If you know beans about chili, you know chili ain't got no beans"- traditional, authentic chili does not contain beans at all. However, other parts of the U.S. do put beans in chili. My kids love the stuff, but depending on what is in it, the flavour can vary quite a bit. I have never personally made it, nor eaten "real" chili (I can not eat meat so have had a vegetarian version), but lots of restaurants sell it and friends and relatives make it from time to time. One of my sisters puts raisins in hers - which she cooks in a big crock pot- and it works! Most people in North America like it or have a favourite chili recipe. This was a fun video. As usual Mama Mustafa is bang on with his observations. 😄

@Sir Kham Syizhin Raisins aren't good by themselves and they're not good in cookies. There's no reason to try putting them in different foods like "Hey, third's time the charm". If someone gave me chili and then was like "Oh yeah, there's raisins in it" ... That ... Well, honestly that's ground for suing. A pretty easy win in court I imagine.

They're right about chili con carne. It's the best, but it's even better with bread. A spicy, peppery chili con carne, a nice crusty white bread (I would accept roti or naan as an excellent substitution), some full fat greek yoghurt or creme fraiche, and butter-fried sweet corn. Call an ambulance right now, because I'm eating till I need one.

Maybe these folks will get a kick out of knowing I once won a chili cooking competition at the state fair in Alabama. The judges kept coming back to taste it, and were amazed at the flavor profile. My secret? Start with a Roghan Josh gravy base :) .. I know that comes from Kashmir, but they might be familiar with the dish. I make the chili con carne and serve it with toasted garlic bread (ghee with garlic). A salad on the side you have a whole meal!
