Man I just can't help but have mad respect for Gul Sher Khan and Chaudhary. Those two guys just carry themselves in that type of way. Rana and Tahir are genuine good people. You struck gold with these four guys.
Bison meat is a special treat for most people in the USA. It is 2x more expensive than beef because we have much fewer bison than cows. These lovely gentlemen are correct! It is much more healthy for you than beef because it is much leaner with less fat. Very good and has a deeper richer flavor than beef but not as wild game tasting as ox or deer. ❤
@@candygram4435 Not gamey at all. If you can find it try it. Also it cooks faster than beef so your cooking time is cut in half or you will ruin it. Cheers.
Mr Tahir! American Bison or Buffalo are found on grassy Plains, not in forests or jungles. You are indeed all very fortunate because bison meat is something that most Americans never get to have. The meat is high in protein and lower in fat than regular beef and you can always be sure that bison are raised ethically on grass rather than being farmed in buildings and fed grains. So it's also healthier because it's raised better than regular beef is at least here in the West.
@@voidmstr Tahir has basically turned himself into a meme. He is very aware of breaking the fourth wall and loves to behave like he's interacting directly with us rather than just talking to a camera, so his tongue-in-cheek comments do appeal to many viewers as a result. I like that he doesn't take himself too seriously, he's very funny at times.
Just a few corrections. Bisons don't live in the Caribbean, they are not teased with a red cloth(Spanish bullfight) and are not Russia's symbol (bear). They are from the USA and Canada. And for those wondering, completely halal and kosher. They are wild cows.
Damn...now, I'm jealous, I live in America, and I've never had a Bison burger. You should let them see the bison in Yellowstone interacting with the not so bright tourists so TPT can get a sense of the size and power of this animal.
Those napkins are a beautiful and thoughtful gift. The burger looked very tasty. Your chefs always turn out great dishes for you all to try and deserve to be celebrated. Thankyou for another great video.
I was fortunate enough to join some friends on a bison hunt last autumn. We hunted alongside the Native American tribes and were blessed with success. Our family has been enjoying bison burgers ever since. This is wonderful!
Just bought some groud Bison today. It's pricey, so I only buy it a few times a year. A Bison burger made on the grill is heavenly! Who am I kidding? Most EVERYTHING that comes off the grill is mighty wonderful! 👌
Please let Mr. Tahir know the animal symbolof Russia is the huge brown bear. Bison, either in North America or Europe, are bovines as are Afican Cape buffalo, East Asian water buffalo, Himalayan yak and other related species. The meat of these animals should taste similar to each other, but with some differences.
I love bison. Better than cow meat. It's alot leaner and cooks faster. Bison steaks are great too on the grill. I'm glad they like the bison burger. Now I want one. It's a bit expensive here in the u.s.a. In my local market I can get 1 pound of ground bison meat for $11 and some change. The steaks are two 4 Oz. Steaks in a package for $10 and some change.
These fine gentlemen are really growing on me, it is so wonderful to watch them experience things they do not have in their country, and hear them talk of how it makes them feel. They should try american barbeque, that would knock their socks off😊. Much love and God bless.
American that I am, I have never tasted bison. That is odd, because I tasted swordfish once and it was a unique experiance, (not to be repeated). I think it is wonderful they have the chance of tasting things they would never have if it weren't for these videos. Great work by the crew benind the camera.
I have never tasted Bison either, and it's incredibly popular in Canada. However, I'm not a fan of eating wild game such as bison, deer, moose, etc. Haha crazy I know. My mother tried to trick me once with moose roast, and I knew immediately it wasn't beef. She was shocked I could tell the difference being only young. I just don't like that gamey taste. Love alot of fish, though, especially growing up in BC, Canada, but never had swordfish or catfish either. I don't think I'll ever try them either. I guess I'm super picky...haha geeze just realized I probably sound picky as all heck.
In Colorado, bison is commonly available in many places. It's flavor is mostly like beef, but it has a hint flavor to it that is reminiscent of game meat like elk or deer. The flavor is stronger than beef, so it stands out against seasoning a bit more. It doesn't have a lingering aftertaste like some gamey meats, though. Bison seem to always be raised free-range, so that's probably a big part of it.
Maybe mention that, while they may taste similar, Bison meat tends to be "healthier" in terms of quality of meat. Regardless, I am glad they are enjoying them :)
I love Tribal People Try channel, they are all such Gentleman and Ladies, you can see their good manners and kindness shines from within like a bright light !!!
Mr. Tahir may be a doctor in his country, but his fanciful ideas about wildlife and how animals live and where they live would prevent me from ever having him as MY doctor! Ha ha. For cough, just give me a spoonful of honey mixed with Kentucky whiskey! Bison are plains animals, they don’t live in jungles! And Lions eat meat raw, they know nothing about cooking! I think Mr. Tahir is a great storyteller for he has an active imagination.
Yeah, also Russia's national animal is the brown bear. I still love his stories. His imagination has a child-like innocence to it that's quite endearing.
Bison is particularly American. I have posted comments many times before and I will say it again… it is such a superb service to the world that this channel is sharing our cultures. Due to religious and cultural differences, too often our countries oppose one another. These videos show that, ultimately, we are all just humans. Our daily lives are the same. Work, family, food… just living. And, here, like in this video, we share our foods. Channels like this are a benefit to humanity. Look, I’m not saying a simple channel such as this will solve all of our problems. I happen to be a gay American. I’m going to guess that this concept may not be very acceptable to many on this channel. Mr Gulsher, for example, just finished his pilgrimage. Devout followers of his religion may not be openly accepting of someone like me. BUT… just having an understanding that we’re all fellow human beings and care about one another is progress. Channels like this make that possible, when we reach out to one another. And it’s done in such a simple way… “here, just try some American food”. Sharing our simplest aspects of humanity. It’s perfect. It lets us know that, regardless of our differences, we’re all the same. We all enjoy good food. We’re all just trying to get on in life.
Most of today bison comes from Canada. Bison has been imported from Alberta for years to other countries and even the states, but with caution because there are still people like to shoot them. Look into Elk Island National Park as I've seen Bison there all my life and I'm 59.
I've had Bison burgers in the past. I liked it. These wonderful gentlemen are eating better food than me. I'm gonna have to go out and spend some money for a nice dinner. The chef creates the most beautiful, authentic dishes.
Bison meat is sold and grown in Canada too, btw Canada is the northern neighbor of the USA, but a separate country who is BIGGER than the USA, and yes Bison ranches are popular in the west of Canada...not everything is in the USA, remember that!
Cloth napkins are meant to get dirty so that when you wash them by hand they'll be clean. But I respect them for not using it since it is a beautiful gift.
i tried one once..i thought it was to rich for me..tasted strong i dont handle meats very well tho im glad you all tried it : ) thanks so much for sharing..still waiting on Mr C to do more cooking shows!!
You should give Mister Rana a knife and fork so he can cut his food and taste more fully the things you offer to him. I too have many missing teeth and this is a great help in preserving dignity.
Good to see the fantastic 4 on there own rather than having all the extras that they bring on TPT should also get all the family’s together and have video like that
Bison are special animals because the Native Americans had tons of bisons in the 1800 but they became almost extinct when the white man killed almost killed them all off and the beef is so good but I’m an animal lover and I love bison and I don’t wanna kill them
Colloquially most Americans would call this a buffalo burger. Technically of course it is a bison burger, because the American 'buffalo' is species of bison. We don't have true buffalo.
Bison meat tastes like beef except a slightly stronger taste than beef. In my USA state we have some ranchers dedicated to ranching bison. Bison has less fat in the meat than beef so it's a little healthier to eat and it doesn't eat grain to fatten it, only grass.
I grew up in Calgary, Alberta….Canada…..and before I was a teenager,,.my dad took us to an North American Indian reservation where we got to eat bison burgers,,.if I remember correctly it was on the way to Banff…I have pretty clear memories of my dad pulling off the highway to take us to this North American Indian restaurant to have bison burgers……and I remember my dad driving us around the reservation too to see what it was like for the people living there….and i remember it because it has stuck with me my whole life obviously….
Mr. Tahir needs to be reminded.. there are no Bisons or Buffalos in the Caribbean!! The Caribbean water buffalo (Bubalus clavium) is a species of bovid similar to Bisons, and did not exist in the Caribbean Islands - only Trinidad and Tobago had water buffalos breed by the US for meet consumption in the 50's- the rest has been created only by SciiFii. Bisons are from North American, and their relatives are from Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, etc. But thanks for making us enjoy your new tasting burger!!
Mmmmm! Love a bit of bison! Have your taste-testers tried Three Sisters Stew, yet? It's a Native American recipe that combines corn, squash, and beans. It's very nice. The first time I made it, I threw some bison meat in with the vegetables. Turned out delicious!
A long time ago Buffalo were so numerous that enormous herds sounded like thunder and shook the earth when they ran across the plains of America. Now there are fewer bison than cows. They almost became dangerously close to extinction at one time I heard. I don't know. But now these animals are being raised for meat which is so much healthier and better tasting than beef. I recently had an Indian taco, American Indian not India Indian, with bison meat and it was so delicious. I hadn't had bison in years and it was a real treat. I'm so glad that everyone at Tribal People Try had the chance to try a speciality meat and that they enjoyed it.
The Official National Animal of Russia Russian selected the Eurasian brown bear as their national animal. The official national animal of Russia is the Eurasian brown bear. Bison is native to North America. The markhor is the national animal of Pakistan, where it is also known (in English) as the "screw-horn" or screw-horned goat. Bison meat is leaner than cow and healthier and delicious.
Had this,to me it tasted cleaner than regular beef.Bison are survivors of The Ice Age and are quite large. Some Native Americans lived by following their herds which were once in the millions.Bison can be raised on ranches, this is probably where your burger meat came from.White Tailed Deer are very common in the US.Country people do hunt them and make burgers of the meat.
I was thinking deer meat too! They could try venison jerky or My grandpa used to take venison and make Chicken fried cube steaks with white cream gravy and homemade hash browns. It was wonderful!!! 😋😋😋
Too bad millions of bison were killed, and people raised other animals, these massive warriors once roamed free and helped many humans to survive! Love to all of you!
My grandfather was indigenous American, born on the Choctaw nation. To some tribes the bison is a sacred animal. It was saved from extinction and is now farmed, but it is still an expensive meat. Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ to you, which means in the Sioux language, we are all related, or we are all one tribe. It has become used by a lot of other tribes in the modern times.
I think Dr. Tahir may need a quick google of what and where Bison are😂I think he may be thinking bear😂 i am starting to doubt his medical credentials 😂picture a bison in a jungle😂
Gul Sher ate that whole thing like a champ. The he says basically "I can't take another bite," leaving naught but one large lettuce leaf left on his plate, as if that leaf would really push him over the edge. HA! - "Go Gul" 😆
The "BISON" is often confused with the "BUFFALO". Both are members of the "BOVINE" family, although not closely related. Buffalos are very large, prehistoric undomesticated wild animals, although Bisons are even larger. Wikipedia says - "Old World Buffalo ("Cape Buffalo" & "Water Buffalo") are native to Africa and Asia, while Bison are found only in North America and parts of Europe". Other members of the same "Bovine" Family, and the most common are the domestic COW (the female bovine: used for milk, meat, & breeding), and the BULL (the male bovine: used for meat, breeding, protection of the herd, and in some countries for sport-fighting against "Matadors" [professional Bull-Fighters] ). Other Bovines are the domesticated OX (used mainly for pulling ploughs & hauling carts - then meat), and the African and Asian WATER BUFFALO (used just like an Ox, only in hotter wetter climates). Of all these Bovines, the North American Bison is the largest, the strongest, and the most ancient, reaching heights of 6 feet and weighing up to 2,000 pounds - and that's a lot of tasty burgers.
Doctor Tahir you are right. Nobody has seen bisons coughing on the jungle simply BECAUSE bisons don't live on the jungle, or in Russia as you said today.
I am a large man, 213cm from the people of the first light. This land the whites call Maine in the United States, gentlemen you seriously need to taste Moose Burgers... You haven't lived until you eat a one kilogram burger!!!
Bison do not live in the jungle, they live in the prairies and feed on grass and other vegetation. They are very powerful beasts and one does not want to go near them for they can horn one like a bull.
My parents always used to pick up some bison meat from the local butcher when they had some in. I can easily remember the smell of bison burgers and it makes me feel super nostalgic!
America used to have herds of buffalo & bison like the wildebeest of Africa. Native Americans survived on them for centuries until the immigrants showed up!
@@lukespooky Wrong, the American Bison (buffalo) migrated from Asia approximately 400,000 years ago. It is estimated that there were 65 million roaming the Great Plains at one time.
My first reaction on this channel. I watch for a year and the gentlemen are amazing in their own unique way. They bring me joy in my life.❤ This time Tahir cracks me up of the story of the Lions catching a bison and the best Remedy against couch is to eat bison because they dont couch.😂😂😂😂 I died😂😂😂
I love the flavor of bison….used to be able to buy bison hot dogs but the company got sold and they stopped making them. They were so good every time I had one I would say “This is how a hot dog should taste.”
Bison (AKA Buffalo) are very sacred to us and is a sacred food. It's delicious and healthy. The more we consume, the more likely we can perpetuate the sacred species' existence. Sadly, they were almost extinct. I love your channel! Thank you; prayers and many blessings to you and your families. ❤ Edit: Typo
