I've got 2 x JBL Bombox 2's, which are sick. I couldn't help but get myself one of these Tribit units recently. Blown away. It's my preferred speaker for so many reasons. I'm totally going to get a second one. 2 x JBL Boomboxes were a game changer - so worth it. Can't wait for my life to change when I get another Tribit. Great video, by the way!
I wanted to add some extra details about owning the Blast. The unit I bought in this video ended up defective as protection mode kept coming on, plus my Amazon 30 day return was gone so I went through Tribits costumer service and they were very fast and understanding. Took me 4 days to get a new unit it from the day I have submitted my claim. The other thing is water resistance. Although it is rated IP67, dust and water-resistant, water ended up getting in the crevices of the speaker and in front of the lights so you have to wait about a day for it to fully dry our or more.

I have the Encore. But the Blast in comparison to the Encore Essential, the Blast is just a overall way more usable speaker. The battery life on the Partybox Encore is already bad getting 2 hours 20 minutes at around 50% volume which is pretty loud but the Essential your going to have a hard time pulling over a hour at the same volume.

I'm still watching this now but I liked a small detail you said about using a similar sized speaker for the sound test if you don't use headphones. I think a lot of people would failed to have to consider that they wouldn't get near to the true experience with regards to the bass on a smaller speakers which lack the vital components to the degree needed to reproduce the test accurately.

Did i hear 6 hours at higher volumes and less with the lights? If i am mistaken on that im sorry. Facts are that this speaker will go 20 hours plus at volumes between 50 and 70 percent. with the lights on! Agreed 30 hours may be high if you do both. But to say those numbers is very misleading. This box is long lasting with a big battery. ihave gotten 30 hours with indoor use at half volume or close
45 to 70% with the lights on along with my custom EQ is 6 hours 56 minutes and 4 hours 26 minutes at maximum volume. And I said in my testing and my experience not for everyone. Music genres, custom EQ and lights can have a big tool on battery life. So it's not misleading its just your experience along with one other person who commented. I had 3 StormBox Blast in total, and they all perform the same in battery life in my testing.

@@TheAscendedTechNinja I know!another lovely value proposition, however, for my specific use case (outdoorsy stuff) the long lasting battery and portability just made it a best all-rounder. I had the Soundcore motion boom plus before the tribit and I honestly wasn't satisfied. The bass was lacking a bit. Don't get me wrong, it was punchy, but didn't extend very low. But the tribit DAMN what a great speaker
Instantly heard what I was coming for in this video: how long the battery lasts on full volume-the only reasonable volume there is with good music 🙃🫠. So thank you for knowing what matters in these reviews. Anyway, I've purchased my Tribit StormBox Blast a year ago and it is a beast. Equally important, the customer support is excellent. When my first StormBox arrived the battery lasted half or less than advertised. Tribit asked to perform a test and quickly received a new device with a proper battery.
I really do appreciate your compliment, so thank you truly💯 I just wish RU-vid push out this video more compared to the other ones that doesn't really tell you much, nor has the cool editing😅 I had a defective unit that would turn off the EQ in what sound extremely flat after about 20 minutes of listening
It was bothering me so badly using my f up Note 10 plus 🤣 Fun fact I had to do a voice-over since I completely forgot to say the range during the actual recording so that's why the audio sounded different.
