Its only right to be, I've never really watched dragon ball z but I've always seen the characters when I was small. I saw how this anime made people happy and inspired many creators. Im not from Japan and I was planning to read watch the whole anime but I cant because I'm always busy :( I loved the memes surrounding around dragon ball z, but now I don't really feel like reading it now because of the goated mans death. Maybe later, but I'm glad your Nation people inspired other Japanese creators and foreigners across the world :D Rest in peace Akira Toriyama, you will be greatly missed, he didn't have to go this way
I'm glad to realise that we grew up watching the same anime beyond the differences in times and places we were born and raised. We made treasured memories through his works together. I wholeheartedly miss him.
I haven't spoken to my 2 childhood friends in years, but we always bonded over Dragonball z as kids. Today while I was at work one of them made a group chat for the 3 of us and made me aware of toriyama's passing. We haven't stopped texting each other about our favorite memories since this morning
Your lucky I had my brother's whilst I was watching this and I was 23 the amount of things said before they were seen actually made a difference in the perception there's a way I can tell it was reaching me in a similar way. Shaping conscious perception regardless of your age. Very professional writing in everything even Airale was awesome.
About 3 generations of my family grew up with dragon ball I feel so saddened by his passing………. Let us not forget that death is just another part of life as it is in dragon ball……… if we did have the dragon ball I know that akira toriyama would tell us not to wish him back as goku said during the cell saga. R.I.P the great toriyama ❤❤❤
Idk about the "not wish him back" part because he was in the middle of working on more projects and he was enthusiastic about it meaning he had a vision and wanted to see it through to the end before passing. But he died before he could.
I can't believe how sad I am with his passing. DB was such a gigantic part of my whole life from childhood to adulthood. It was like family, like home. I can't thank Toriyama enough. RIP
Wonderful memories from the stories he created enjoying them with my young son and husband years ago. Thanks for the joy and adventure you gave us. Rest in peace.❤
Is incredible amazing when i reading The creator of One piece and Naruto and other manga author honouring Akira Toriyama and talk how his work inspire to be what they're now..which mean we will never get One piece and Naruto and many other manga/anime without Akira Toriyama creation..true legend there
God bless you akira. Goku stands for what all of humanity should strive to be. Goku was my hero as a kid and now as a 40 year old I’m still enjoying super. Rest in peace
I’m a young buck, 23 years old. I was unfortunate enough not to watch Dragon Ball Z when it was first coming out. But my brother showed it to me one day when I was around 9 and I ate it up. I loved Dragon Ball Z! It was my first anime and why I have watched so much! God bless this legend!!
I’m so blessed to say I was a 9 yr old US kid when I caught DBZ on toonami the 1st day it aired and I’ve been a die hard fan ever since!thank you Toriyama for these characters that have transcended generations and will continue to do so forever 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you. You gave my childhood actual good memories when my life was difficult. It all meant so much to me that i named my son Gohan. I wish i could go to the past because now hes grown too and we would watch the show together all the time. I appreciate all you did. Rest in peace. 🙏
My older brother and siblings show me the show Dragon Ball 🐉🐲 painful loss our thoughts and prayers for his family and friends and fans around the world of universe 🕊️ Rest in peace 2024 💐
I’m Japanese and I grew up with dragon quest so I can not accept his death. I’ve been really forward to DQ12. If characters he drew appear on the next game, I wanna buy and play it. RIP to Toriyama.
I’m from the Philippines and when I was in college I witnessed Filipinos up to the age of 70 watching Dragon Ball on TV. And at the mall in front of an electronic shop watching out from the glass wall, people are crowding the mall’s hallways because they were watching Dragon Ball, young kids, teenagers, adults like carpenters, office workers, service crews from different restaurants, managers and so on. Even if we can’t hear the sound we stayed there watching because we didn’t want to miss the episode. That’s what anime’s like in the Philippines, it’s part of our life and Dragon Ball is one of the first and one of the best. I there are a lot of new anime’s and new characters now but first, Salute to Akira Toriyama. almost all the people in the world knows that you made us do and say. Kaaaaaaaaa………. Meeeeeeee………. Haaaaaaaaa……… Meeeeeeee………. Haaaaaaaaa……… Sayo nara AKIRA TORIYAMA You will be missed.
Without him the greatest shonen seties of all time like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach etc. might not even exist since they all gut inspired by him and Dragonball. Rip Toriyama Sensei.
Legend among Legends. Greatly missed, but so happy to have had him during my lifetime. Thank you for creating Dragonball with Goku and the gang. Keeping his memory alive, for sure. Blessings to his family. ❤
Why did this short* make me emotional 🥺 that bit of the guy putting text at the end of one of the games dedicated to his children… 😭 Way more emotional to see that after he has passed away. 😭
Thank you for making my childhood so memorable ❤ I will definitely show your greatness to my kids in future. You will be remembered forever ❤ thank you Akira Sensei 🙏🏻❤️
