Bechoy, I love watching/listening to yr guides/advice on how to grow garden plants successfully. Only, as a Malaysian who is not a native speaker in Tagalog, I have difficulty following yr comments. Please use at least 75% English language so that yr followers outside of Phillipines can benefit more from yr videos.
Diligan ng 3% hydrogen peroxide regularly once every 4 months. My ratio is from 30:70 (water) up to 50-50, depending on how healthy the plant is. Monsteras love it! Also spray the leaves with a lower ratio (30:70 - 40:60) more frequently (once every two months). To keep the leaves shiny, wipe the leaves with egg albumin (egg white) with a little pinch of vetsin.
I really love to watch your vlog because it's so informative, you speak clearly po and aside from you're a plantito iba po kasi pag lalaki ang nagvvlog about plants🥰

thanks so much for the trivia and tips sir bechoy 😍 , i never imagined sobrang lumalaki sila, monster nga 😁, sana mapa monster ko ang monstera ko haha! thanks sa shout out! sir bechoy ❤️ happy planting! ☘️🌿
You mentioned about Monstera being leggy and one of its manifestations is the distance of one leaf to the other on the stem. Isn't it that the distance is one that separates the difference between Deliciosa and Borsigiana? Hehe.
I think na ang borsigiana is leggy nga, but ang leaves is di nalaki like ung deliciosa more of a vining type din I think at ang monstera deliciosa is more compact, chubby at leaves gets larger in time, atleast un ang observation ko sa between them. Luv ur caretips sa deliciosa 😊 but I'd rather have other ones kc nalaki 😆
Hi po sir bechoy, thanks for the info, mine is starting to turn yellow, baka its time for me to uproot and change my potting mix,I have 1 question po,you said yours is placed outdoor,ok lang po ba n lagi siyang nababasa ng ulan?hindi po b ma overwater basta yung potting mix niyo po ang gamit?gusto ko din po ilagay sakin sa labas under a tree para po magkaron ng enough light and magkaron ng serration ang mga dahon niya.sana po masagot niyo po,thanks very much in advance,God bless po😊
How do you get the leaves to be extremely large like yours? I have a couple varieties of monstera but this one is always my favorite. Mine are growing very tall with the largest leave at about a foot and a half wide. I also got my first 'eye' next to the beautiful fenistrations. BUT, i am repotting and staking them. I have heard that they need to climb BEFORE the leaves will get even bigger. Is this true? If so, is the plant next to you a start from a mother plant? I ask because it is not very tall but has beautiful large leaves like I want. Can you give me some advice?
Hi Bechoy! :-) Thank you for the so informative videos. I am really a fan of Monstera Deliciosa ( varigated is so pricey, hehe).. Sir, ill notice that the leaves of my monstera produces water sa gilid kahit di naman sya bagong dilig. Is this healthy po ba or this is a sign that there a problem on my monstera. By the way my monstera po is INDOOR. Thanks so much and happy gardening! :-)
Please add a subtitle for us who doesn't understand Spanish (or Thai, whatever other language that was, that's not English). I understand English just fine, even though it's not my native language. But this had me thinking I was listening to Spanish the entire time and find myself guessing and struggling to understand what was being said..
In your other vlog, i followed this potting mix for my MD - coco peat 25% pumice 25% tree barks (coco cubes) 25% vermicast 15% CRH 15%. After 3 days a new leaf is beginning to sprout . Exciting! Hehe. With this vlog do i have to redo my potting mix to be able to attain that GIANT & HEALTHY MD? Thank you.
Thanks. Stay safe and God bless
I just had my MD a week ago and it is placed inside my office where there is no natural light at all (fluorescent light only). Can I just place it outside (preferably under big trees) once a week only?
Question i have my monstera na over water naiwan sa ulan lagi dati then natangal big stem and leaf nya. Will it grow back again sa same node area? yun kasi pinaka malaking node area nya.
Hi Bechoy! I actually don't recommend using pebbles as a substitute for pumice kasi it doesn't have air pockets and it's not porous. 😊 Quick question - I have mine in it's nursery pot still and I think the medium used by the seller is mainly coco peat and rice hull. With the substrate you're using, hindi ba nahihirapan tumayo yung plant?
Hi ma’am, actually for aroid mix I think it’s ok to use pebbles because the mixture already has a degree of porosity (from the spaces in between the cococubes, cocopeat, etc.) even if pebbles are lumped together, there will still be spaces in between them. But for soilmix which is loam soil-base, Pebbles is not recommended because the loam soil will wrap around the pebbles and will no longer provide us the porosity we are after. Good question din po regarding the foundation should the plant start to grow big, and probably will lose its ground as it grows. That is where our pumice and cocopeat come into the picture 😊 so far naman po hindi sila nagpapakita ng signs of being unstable.
@@bechoyvlog753 thank you for answering! Sige I will try your substrate for my Monstera when it's ready to be transferred. And yes no pebbles for substrates that are loam-based that's what I actually meant. 😊 Have a great day!
I have both monsteras, the deliciosia and the borsigiana. having the two in my collection, I also made some research to know the difference for they really look identical. The deliciosa i have with me is a tissue cultured imported from China which I bought from a plant nursery here in Bicol via live selling, while the borsigiana i got is from an online seller from my created plant group, the Naga City Cam Sur Plant Swap and Barter This plant group has already 6.7k members as to this writing. My borsi is juvenile, so you could only see few fenestrations in one or two of its young leaves. Lately, a friend of mine from US who is also a plant collector is congratulating me for having my borsigiana, that gave me an oh-oh -really factor (Hahah!) as she told me it is a borsigian albo. She insisted that there is no such plain green borsigiana. So please let me know in case you encountered such info in your own reading, for if it is true then, i'll be excited to see future leaves of my borsigiana getting splashes of white . Then, that could bring me a great challenge on how to bring out variegation. Thnx again for this enlightening vlog, idol!
@@mexkentsleaves4329 did your borsigiana get splashes of white in its new leaves? Because I just purchased a large Borsigiana for 2500 and I’ll be excited if it does grow albo leaves
I saw this kind of plant growing in the wild and on s very tall tree. The people have no idea that much of what they just consider as weed or wild plants are now super expensive. I tell people not to take any plants from the river banks. So I must set an examples.
Pls. help me.. Thank you po.
