I have an MRO too. I've toyed with idea of getting the 3x magnifier, but read somewhere that it amplifies your astigmatism. Probably going to switch to EoTech EXPS3-2 down the line.
Great minds! I'm currently doing a giveaway on the MRO/3× combo to fund an EXP2-0. I already know it'll look kinda psychedelic, but it's the only optic platform I've never seriously run (I shot like 5 rounds through one once)
@@SapperGentleman Great minds indeed. My buddy has an EXPS3 on his rifle and so far it's been great. Shot his rifle a few times and my astigmatism was okay with it. Some people say holographic sights are slightly better in that regard. Weight wise and battery life, the MRO is great but that's about it.
Once you added all the lower 1/3cw parts it looked like your magnifier shifted a little to the right and wasn’t centered on the dot. Is that actually true or just a trick of the camera angle?
Just came across your video, good job . Just a quick question for you. I’m doing security work between zero and roughly 250 yards would you go with a red dot magnifier, or an LPVL something like a vortex PST or razor
Sorry for the lagging response... For work out to 250 I'd probably lean LPVO. 1-6× should do you fine. I have a PST and am very happy with it for the money.
@@SapperGentleman what about a Trijicon mro hd with a Magnifier or an EOTech with a Magnifier I have a few LPVO AND like them the new rifle that I am building is a 14.5 shooting between 0-250 basically, I’m trying to set it up as the go to rifle during a SHTF
