Hi can someone tell me what’s the difference between Govee ($450 for 150. Feet) install yourself, and trim light I got a quote for $4500 for 190 feet but would he installed using a track.
I really don’t know much about them. I can say we have several Govee products and they work well. However, after power outages we have to manually reconnect them. The drawback for us was the visible wires. It has a “someone left their Christmas lights up all year” look. The Trimlights are enclosed and not visible. The only visible part is the small light. As far as functionality, they look about the same.
It was detected by our Wyze Spotlight camera (clear view of the camera). However, the Wyze doorbell cameras did not detect it. We just changed the camera sensitivity at it fixed it.
The lights have a lifetime of 50000 hours. The owner said 10-20 years. It all depends how much they are used. We only use ours during holidays so should be around 20+.
worked with them both. Trimlight is hands down the best. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty. Gemstone is a canadian company that did what they could to get around the Trimlight patent.
It all depends when you order it. We got ours in January which was “off season”. It’s priced by foot and we paid a little over $3000. They will come out give a free estimate w no pressure if you want exact amounts. Thanks for watching!
I'm pretty sure if a light goes out it's gonna take about 2 months before someone comes out and fixes it. If the company goes bankrupt in a couple years you're just kinda screwed. Feel like that might be the case
@@kylep3759 I would think that would depend on the local dealer’s availability but they are the only permanent lighting to offer a lifetime product warranty and they require dealers to give a labor warranty as well.
Actually, we had a power outage for about 8 hours and I couldn’t get the schedule function to work. The owner was at my house that afternoon. Turns out it was 100% user error. The schedule calendar does not show Sun to Sat. It kinda a Jillian calendar the flows month to month. Reading is fundamental lol. He was super understanding and confirmed everything was working correctly.
