I'm not a sausage fan but I made these this weekend. Got about 20 from my batch but you would never guess; they were gone in seconds. I even took out the final batch a few minutes earlier - they were definitely cooked but not as brown as I would have preferred - but it didn't matter one way or another to my darlings. I swear my kids and hubby were starving, lol. I'm a very busy Trini mom so I appreciate the shortcuts whenever I get them. Thank you.
This is a popular snack in Trinidad, lots of other British foods as well. Trinidad and Tobago was ruled under the British for a long time. Yes they are, very yummy!
Gonna try this. I usually use shortcrust for this but prefer puff pastry but hate the work behind it. This looks like a good shortcut lol. Looked yummy.

A little tip for you. instead of cutting the sausage before wrapping in the dough, wrap the entire sausage in an appropriate size of dough and then cut into smaller pieces. You should get at least three smaller sausage rolls for one sausage.
