[TRIP REPORT] EuroCity Transalpin From Graz To Zurich By SBB First Class Panorama Coach Alpine Trip 

EuroCity Transalpin is one of the few services left where you can find the famous SBB first class panorama coach in. This train connects Graz in Austria with Zürich in Switzerland. Their unique design makes them very special to ride on. Catch a ride and soak up the Alpine view while crossing the spectacular Arlberg Railway.
In the 2022 timetable the SBB panorama coach can be found on EuroCity Transalpin 163/164 from Zürich to Graz, on EuroCity 8/9 from Zürich to Hamburg, on domestic service InterCity 3 from Zürich to Chur and on the seasonal Gotthard Panorama Express. They may occasionally show up somewhere else on the network, but with these four options you have the best bet to ride on them.
To book yourself a seat on one of these panorama coaches, look up the train listed above on the website of ÖBB on tickets.oebb.a... and if it is available you can choose you want to have a seat on the panorama coach. You can't choose which seat specifically, but this is the best way to secure yourself a spot on board.
