I flew that route before as a kid however in 1972. Back then it was with Eastern Airlines on a DC-8. My mom worked for the Airline, therefore we also flew 1st class. I remember the departure was VERY LOUD in comparison to this, but the service was also good. The flight crew served Champagne in real glasses after take off and i had Lasagna for dinner. The cabin layout was quite colorful. On another occasion i flew the same route on a Pan Am B 707 - Happy days.

ALWAYS fly First Class when you can! You can usually get an upgrade at the airport when you check in for a lower price than what most people paid for theirs. My husband use to fly from Hartford to Florida several times and always managed to get a first class upgrade at the airport for $50 to $75 (this was almost 15 years ago mind you).
Nice looking exteriors of the terminals, and yes I like the interior of the Miami wing. Great views of the jet bridge. Food looks delicious. What I also find important is the width of the seat, since the last flight I did, as I sat beside/against someone which needed a seat belt extender. First time I saw that; before I didn't even knew those exists.
Just flew from SLC to MCO and back. Didn't think the burger would be good, so I opted for something else. Person next to me had the burger and said it was amazing. Mine was okay - I just thought the burger would be dry. Had the short rib dinner coming back - it was excellent. Next time - I am going with the burger!!!!
Delta's domestic first class is a hit or miss product. Some flights it's relaxing and comfortable with good service, other flights they aren't so good. I think you were fortunate to get a good crew. Also, they tend to be higher priced than their competition without really offering a better product.

Maravilloso, vole con Delta Airlines la primera vez que fui a MIA, de acuerdo la H es una terminal muy bella, al sur del aeropuerto, se observa todo muy bien.
Las veces que he viajado a Atlanta, NY, Miami wifi todo el trayecto, buen servicio y excelente atención por parte de la tripulación los recomiendo al cien por ciento..super Delta
It’s really good to sit in First Class, for me anyway, cause I have to wear these braces on my legs that go into your shoes. When you have them in place, your feet can’t flex around.
Have a great 2023! It’s quite hilarious that the American carriers call that service, first class, just to charge more. It’s premium economy and that’s it. A cookie for dessert 😅
I took he same flight with Delta to NYC but from FLL. We had fog and wind delays so our landing was about 15-20 minutes longer. I believe they had to fly around but they never mentioned it but I noticed it onboard. JFK airport is a mess.

I'm sorry to sound judgmental, or like a snob, I must say they didn't really look like first class passengers in first class. ( were they upgraded because saved traveling points, or lack of room in back)
And I'm sure you're right. I come from the last generation where we dressed up nicely and put on our good manners when we flew. (Even when in tourist class) But flying used to be more exclusive. The average person rode the bus. Now the jet are the new bus. I flew on one of the early 707s and everything since including the Concorde. Being a person in my sixties, I still dress up. I think the CRJ900 doesn't have ovens (but I might be completely incorrect). In any case, the US airlines have a really bad policy of not offering basically nothing on what they call "short flights" when flying in business class... They should always offer even a cold meal on flights from 45-50 minutes...
A question for you. Not sure if you will answer. Is the airline aware who you are ? Have they tipped off the crew? I have flown before , First Class and asked for seconds and they said they did not have any. You always seem to get seconds !!! Next time I want to fly with you LOL I very much enjoy your videos they are excellent.
I've never been sponsored by any airline and, as far as I know, nobody was aware that I was travelling. I'm just politw and ask. If they have and want, perfect, if not thanks and that's it :)

I'd never want to fly on a garbage 737 anyway. Talk about primitive aircraft. It takes forever to get to NY. It's hard to imagine that the people of this century could endure this.
