Why did you pick Xiamen over Spring Airlines? A 3:15pm departure means half a work day is gone & the whole itinerary is nearly a day. Free but shared accommodation is not my cup of tea. I would much rather have an early dinner before taking the 9pm, surely cheap accommodation in Shanghai can be found (or sleep on the benches at the airport).

Spring Airlines是廉价航空公司，中国的廉价航空飞机上可能会销售物品，没有免费的饮料、食物、托运行李额度，座椅也不舒服，只能带一个包上飞机，价格比中转的厦门航空还要贵

Xiamen Air is a full service airline where you could get a full meal service, checked baggage, more comfortable seat and free transfer accommodation. Of course, if you'd like to reach your destination faster and save up more days of annual leave, a direct flight would be the best choice.
