Had my Eleiko bar since 1980,my children have lifted on it ,some day my grandchildren will too, I also still dream about it . This is something we all share.
@@TheKallelink don't know how to attach a photo here have many in my face book page under my name ,have alot of pictures in there you are welcome to look Charlie
I own mine ELEIKO IWF CERT since 2015 . But before,i had a 1977 UDDEHOLM SWEDEN .....and its always operational.... ( with new bearing its like new at 45 yo )
In my gym we have one realy old eleiko bar (we know it has more than 20 years), it's bent (still usable) and the grip is realy waisted but when we weighed it the bar was exactly 20kg and the bearings are still good. So besides not being taking care of and having more than 20 years it's still a usable barbell
Iron Man Magazine help put Eleiko on the map worldwide. They were sole US importers for 20 years. The lifting and publishing pioneers, Peary and Mabel Rader who owned Iron Man Magazine should be noted on the “history wall “ at the factory. Why were they slighted? They are an essential part of the foundation of the success of the company. John Balik
I feel personally that if torokhtiy makes videos completely in English he would get more views....because I feel he is a gem of a weightlifter and everybody should benefit from his knowledge
If you had exited the highway after the windmills I could have invited you for a cup of tea. I live just a couple of minutes from there. My house is visible from the road! Strange to see my neighborhood in your video :-)
Funny how both Eleiko and Nike started with a waffle iron. I'm in the Netherlands so can't help but feel like we've been missing some opportunities when it comes to waffle irons 😁
Можно было в начале кратко рассказать, где эта фабрика находится. Я так понимаю, что это в Канаде, а компания из Швеции. Можно так же рассказать почему завод в Канаде и сколько их вообще в мире.
I see the prize and i think that are much expensive, for example a couple of parallettes on wood for push up 130 dollars, two piece on wood !!!! Bar for weightlifting 850 dollars or 1150 dollars??????? Eleiko are crazy ,steel or cast iron are more expensive on silver , ez bar 12 kg 450 dollars,or the adjustable bench 1250 dollars if not adjustable a bench orizzontal "only" 500 dollars, but only a bench nothing else, a normal single bench 500 dollars???? Today bodybuilding , powerlifting, weightlifting, crossfit are more expensive on Golf ....
@@uvenga there is one initial "introduction day" where you get to meet the entire class, which was like 28 people all from 20-60+ years old (I was the youngest). Then there's a month of homestudy, in which you don't necessarily HAVE to do anything but obviously you want to know as much as possible before the actual course. After that there's a month of both theoretical and practical learning, with loads of different teachers and subjects. And then there's the two examinations, one practical, which is the last day at the course, then you go home and do the theoretical one
one of two ways. either you use a debit/credit card or youd take a guess of how much you would spend pay that amount. If you use less you go back in for your change. If you need more you go back in and pay more. Its pretty common in the USA as well due to people stealing gas.
Nice video man. My dream is to visit Eleiko factory. I'm planning to travel to Sweden next year. How did you do to visit the factory? Did you pay entrance? Can someone visit and train in it ? Please tell me :) Thanks
idk what currency you use but a competition set in U.S dollars is over $3000. I believe the bars are around 1500-2000 and the plates are upwards of $3 a pound.
@@k.krishnaprabhu3084 no I don't work at elieko. I've looked into them before out of curiosity and at one point knew the prices. Also my coach has a competition set that's a few years old but his was over $3000 when he did buy it. Elieko is great but I wouldn't recommend it unless your sitting on a lot of extra cash or your a professional lifter.
