I have one. I've had mine for around 2 years. Yes the wheel is a little hard to rotate but very very handy. 👍👍👍would defiantly recommend! Great vid as usual Staurt.

I use one of those stands to clean/lube my Triumph´s chain and it´works pretty well. One key point is the plank of wood to keep the bike as much vertical as possible.
I completely forgot that these existed! I p/x my Scrambler for a Bobber on Monday so this vid is exactly what I was looking for, it'll do until I can source a paddock stand. Cheers Stuart.
Just to add, I received mine today and the wife was out when it arrived so I guess I dont need to tell her, right? Anyway, The quality looks great and it looks like the two rollers are actually supported with bearings at each end. these of course could be replaced should wear occur, but what I will do is spray a little grease in round them to protect them when washing the bike. I notice price has crept up a little since I ordered.

Excellent spot thanks Stuart. Just ordered one from Amazon £18.39 inc. free postage, at that price it looks like a rare steel to me... Whilst my T100 has centre stand, front wheel maintenance will be a lot less hassle with one of these. Pleased to learn the hound’s leg is improving.
I looked at one for the front wheel (I have centre stand) a while back but didn’t bother. I don’t get time to clean the bike much 🤣. Great Demo tho Stuart & glad Willow is on the mend.
Are you able to show how you clean and oil (maintsmce) the chain please? I am really interested on the Bobber Black, but looking at the position of the chain and exhaust I think its a pain to do it more than say like the Triumph Tiger...etc. Are you able to comment please?
Is there any downside to using a cheap scissor jack under the right side of the bike using the side stand to raise the rear wheel a 1/4 inch off the ground? Would this put undue strain on the side stand, even though it's not supporting the full weight as the front wheel is still grounded?
Thanks for a great video Stuart! This reminded me of another problem, that of getting the weight off of the front wheel. I know you can put a pile of wood under the frame, but how can you safely lift the bike on your own to get that last bit of wood under it? I've got a center stand, so getting the weight off of the back wheel / suspension is easy enough, I've just not figured out how to do the same for the front. I'm trying to avoid buying a jack, so any tips to save that bit of money would be welcome.
@@stuartfillingham oh, I think I see what you mean - roll the bike onto this roller doodad, that will raise up the front end by an inch or so. Place the pile of woood under the frame, then slide the doodad out from under the front wheel, leaving it to dangle in free space?
@@Mikey__R If the bike is on it's centre stand can't you just put something heavy on the back seat or rack so that the back wheel touches the floor and the front wheel is in the air?
If you put some weight on the back and slip the stand under the wheel. then drop the bike back down on to the stand. you can safely turn the wheel on the rollers.@@Mikey__R
