I am very pleased with your review and I have the same good experience. I live in the Netherlands en ride the 400x for 3 months and 2.200 kms and I ride 46 years motorcycle and this bike is for me the right one.
Bro, I'm thinking of taking the Scrambler 400x in a week, but I think the handling is better on the Speed 400. My use is mostly in the city and I'm 6'2" tall. Please suggest which one to go for Speed or Scrambler ??
I have been riding this bike for 5-6 months and I would have liked a bigger tank on this bike and the heat from the radiator hits my legs directly and heats up the tank and I usually have my legs wrapped around the tank pads so I really feel it on my crown jewels😂
Seeing your reviews I have booked my Triumph scrambler. I'm upgrading from 125cc super splendor. Sure I will enjoy this upgrade. Thank you Big bear. And yeah.. Subscribed.
Very bad experience from Triumph on the delivery day itself they have lost my bike spare key , if any one planning don't book at keerthi Triumph Bangalore hbr layout 😢
When are you guys coming to tour the USA? Many will take you on epic rides across the country. I’m sure they would host you and you’d have a blast. I’m in.
I had test driven the scrambler 400 yesterday & my god it was freaking amazing!! Made me want to buy it at that point. The engine was butter smooth & like you mentioned Bossky, post the ECU update, the engine has refined & the low end torque produced was 🔥. Could literally ride @30kmph in the fifth gear & there was no stalling. The pickup from that speed on the same gear was amazing & the speed raised gradually. Wow man the engine of it is amazing!!
Bosky, my Speed 400 shows a constant 28. But I have been getting 22-23 in the city since my first fuel up on the bike in August. Been calculating every time I fill the tank to full. On the highway it's in the 30s
Amazing video as always! What are your views about the Hero Mavrick 440? I went to the Hero showroom but got a test tide in the backdoor galli only, wasn't allowed to actually test it on proper roads, would love a review till it comes to the showroom near me (I went all the way to another city for that galli test drive 😢)
Hii Bosky😊 one of our mates commented about the stuck of the economy at 30... I too facing that after an update. I used to fill my tank once the reserve tank or the low fuel indicator turned on, I got 28.9 on city roads but the economy itself shows 30(stuck)😅. And the next thing I bought is my Scrambler 400x on Jan 12, 2024, recently I observed that something was getting loose and hitting at the left side under the footpeg. I thought it was due to the chain and ran to the service. Then I was shocked😮 The technician thoroughly checked and said that it wasn't happening with the chain. It is addressed that my suspension went down and I need to adjust it. I asked him if a 4-month-old bike drove to 5400 KM's suspension worn out. For 10000 KM's I need to change it then? He said that there might be a mistake with the manufacturer or by my weight as I was weighed. I had my NS 200 BS4 2019. That suspension is super cool and I haven't changed or repaired even didn't adjust it yet! But for a 400 CC-built bike with international standards along with the fit and finish it isn't digestive. Just shared FYI.
Wonderful 4000 plus km review bosky and ck. Excellent content. Beautiful location with a pond trees and occasional birds flying in the background and and two lovely four legged admirers! Keep it up. Waiting eagerly for your next video and shorts. It's relaxing.
Hi Bosky. This is your Triumph Service Centre. Could you please visit us? We would like to talk to you about the...hmmm... warranty repair on the seal.....
I really love this bike. The only problem I've encountered is that after riding around 1700 km, the chain has become loose for the second time. Other than that, it's perfect and mileage is also given 32
I bought both. They 400X and H450 are so different that the purpose of usage determines the choice. If mine is to be a single motorcycle garage, then for my purpose, the H450 be my choice.
Bhaiya I just bought this beautiful machine one week ago and I just completed 400kms and I want to ask some question , if you can answer please... 1. I want to get the PPF Coating on tank, should i get it done from showroom or karol bagh ? 2. Mine is giving 17 kms per litre average is same case happened with you ? 3. If I install the extra light from karol bagh or any other after market, Will the 5 year warranty become void ? 4. In rainfall season whole my back suspension and tyres gets muddy , what should I install ? 5. In rainy season the chain gets dry just bajaj thing which lubricant should i use ?
Congrats. PPF is your choice. I don't use it. Fuel economy will likely improve. Extra lights can void warranty. I know of no way to reduce mud splash. Maintain chain more frequently during monsoons and any lube is ok.
I love the high seat height and handlebar - peg ergonomics of the baby Triumph scrambler. Even the bigger 800 scrambler has lower seat height. Only the 1200 XE scrambler has a comparable seat height!
Hi, what grade of fuel are you using in your bike? I've been using normal fuel in mine since the first day and was wondering if higher octane petrol would make any difference since it has a compression ratio of 12:1
Am 6.2 height, would you suggest this Sc400X, I am using RE thunderbird from 8years now and can’t go to RE now 😢 no RE can convince me. If not this what is next choice? ❤️3000 thank you
RE Classic 350 Reborn OR Triumph 400X for daily office ride and weekend Highway or slightly Off roading, with Pillion Which is more comfortable for rider and pillion??
@@bigbearbangalore it's available for only 4 or 5 minutes to test ride and it's not possible to judge a bike with in that time period. As you guys have personally ride both the bike for a quite a good distance , I am expecting a convincing response.
Haven't ridden the GRR long enough to give a convincing response you seek. I like the 400X suspension over the GRR and like the high speed stability of the GRR over the 400X.
My issue with fuel economy reading is different. It is exaggerating the reading by around 4kmpl. I checked full tank to full tank fuel consumption around 6 times and the actual value is almost always 4 kmpl less than the reading it shows on the dash.
@bigbearbangalore my height is 5.6 n abit confused which bike i should buy between speed n scrambler will u be able to tell me whether is there any chances that we can reduce the height of scrambler from 835 to around 815 took bought the bike test ride but i like scrambler only confusion is height because i will b travelling with my daughter here n there. Need suggestions from ur end, sir.
@@bigbearbangalore sure sir speed s comfortable and when I check in the showroom they told me that scrambler they can adjust the hike hence i m confirming the same
Need Help Bosky Sir !!! Looking to choose between Himalayan 450 and Triumph 400x. Heart says Himalayan as i was actually waiting for it since so many years but Triumph 400x has really confused me. Loved both while driving...Himmy has road presence and ego attached...Triumph is more simple and fun. I am usually a Non Off Roader, but planning for long distance travel...What u think sir? Heart OR Brain?
It's your heart and your head. Depends on what guides you in life. Either will be a good choice. I've posted longer form video on the differences some weeks ago. You may watch that for more clarity.
Good presentation. One point you mentioned about niggles and how every machine is bound to have them at certain point of ownership. Now, Imagine Duke 390 (new one) having issues like tyre wobbling and change, Console malfunction within first 4000 km. People will lose their shit over it. And name calling and blasting KTM will begin. Same with VW/Skoda cars. Every machine has some issues. But people tend to react more frantically towards certain brands and docile towards some others.
I also completed 4280 kms yesterday.. my front suspension [may be back also] has also gone.. the same thing, a giant hump with 100+ speed.. hardly noticeable.. jumped 2 feet into the air, but didn't fall.. 😂
Hi, as a former Suzuki V-Strom 650 owner, could you please share if the Scarmbler 400x engine runs hotter than the V-Strom. I would like to trade the V-Strom for something lighter and easier to service. Thank you!
I have about 1000km on mine now, and am also very pleased indeed with it. My only complaints are the truly shocking headlight performance at night, and the over-bright instrument backlight. The headlight I can live with or work around, but I would welcome suggestions for dimming the brightness of the display.
Hi guys! Loving your content. Just wanted to know which one from speed 400 and scrambler woyld you suggest for mainly city commuting. Also, are the headlights good enough for city usage?
I have kind of agree with sir's review, completely honest and unbiased review, but I want to know, what about the mirror, one bike cross 100+, could not see anything about in side mirrors, guys any advice? Also I will install maddog light soon.
Hi sir. I own a 500cc Std Bullet. BS3. I m considering of a change. I have the option to stick with only one bike. Should i go with 450 Himalayan or this? Ehat will be your take sir?
Correct me if im wrong. i have seen in most of your videos you are so happy about the adv 390 and praising it.. why didnt you buy it over the himalayan 450 and now this scrambler too..any specific reason? Potential buyer equally confused about all 3 here. would like a reply. thanks in advance. also since you gave this a 9/10, what would you rate the adv 390 x?
I'm still experiencing stalling issues with my Scrambler at 4300 km, despite the service center updating the ECU for the second time. I believe the issue persists. Could it be related to the ECU or the engine oil? 😢
Hello, sir. I'm planning to purchase either a Scrambler or a Himalayan. I'm drawn to the aesthetic appeal of the Scrambler. This will be my first bike. Could you advise me on which would be better suited for my needs? I'll primarily be using it for city commuting and highway rides. Additionally, has the engine power loss issue in 2nd and 3rd gear been addressed after the latest update? Are there any specific adjustments or settings I should mention when booking the bike?
Sir your video helped me a lot of info , I wanna buy it , I am little confused between speed and scrambler since it’s the same segment, can you suggest me should which one should I get. I travel 10 km a day and 250km ( to work ) a month and additionally maybe 300 to 500 km ( native place ) for long rides in a month . Price is not my concern I at all about that trill. Can you please suggest me sir , and what’s bmc filter can u also explain it to me . Thank you so much .
Personal preference of posture and seat height. Test ride and choose. I've shared videos on BMC over the last few months. Please view them when possible.
Quick question - do you guys have any content, where you're actually riding? If not, then please do - will give more gravitas to your reviews. Otherwise, you may be considered Milli Vanilli riders....🤔🙄😅
Hey Bosky, why don't you not own the ktm 390 adventure (and own the Himalayan and scrambler)? Was wondering because you have been enamored with that bike for a long time.
