Hi have the same bike and have thought about tuning it. Have seen a lot of varying HP gains from different tuners (10-30hp) to include fixing the 60% throttle. Can I ask what were your gains? Thanks
Generally speaking when fuelling is lean you have to pull timing. Euro 5 bikes are running very lean to get them through emissions testing. We can clearly see in the factory mapping that the timing is pulled at the leanest points. When we put the fuel back in we can fill the holes in the timing.
I would like a remap on my RR mainly to extend the max RPM to 11,000rpm. The rev limiter just comes in too early. Do I need to wait for Triumph warrenty expiry before remap and does remap have any implications for the MOT emission test? Thanks
