This is a short video on my Triumph Stag's differential. Nothing too detailed compared to my rack rebuild. I had to change the pinion seal. Fortunately, this diff is OK and didn't need any planet gear shims. These shims reduce the clunk in the diff.
When putting back the side flanges use an appropriate sealer. No gasket was used but oil drips from there. Here is the pinon seal I used: National Seals 471870 (Cost: $5)
Those side flanges are a pain to get off. You may need a 20 ton press.
The seals for those are cheaper in the USA from The Roadster Factory. The odd thing is the seals are made in UK. If you need to change your quill shaft bearing, here are some part numbers:
LJ7/8-2RSJ RHP Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing 7/8x2x9/16 inch RHP Deep Groove Ball Bearings (Inch)
RLS7-2RS1 SKF Imperial Sealed Ball Bearing (LJ7/8-2RS) 22.23mm x 50.8mm x 14.29mm
