Nice, actually. But it's really small (and expensive). Yes, I understand you could prefer a clean view of your Bobber, but can't have two pros at the same time. I chose the twin large rear Triumph bags (not cheap but less expensive in proportion), with enough space for many items you'd need (e.g.rain jacket&pants). Can use just one, or both, depending of the type of your trip. Rain covers are also available.
I know it’s designed for the bike but just wondering how hot the exhaust gets with the bag in close proximity? I know the exhaust is double walled so it’s not as hot on the outside? I just don’t know yet because I don’t get the bike till next week. 😉
I have this same bag on my Bobber. It is pricey. I would have never let hubby purchase this for me if I knew how much it cost, but he spoils me. Anyhoo...If you mink oil the bag before installation, it might protect it from the rain. Kinda like leather boots. The leather on it already looks like it's been treated during production. Than again the that'll only protect the leather part and not the canvas part. Here's info on how to protect the canvas. thrillspire.com/how-to-waterproof-canvas
How much for the brackets.? Have baggage. Can get pannier mounts but look not right comparably. Swing arm mounts are my preferred option. Too costly via triumph nz. Cheers
Hi! The brackets and mounting hardware came with the bag. You might be best off getting a metal worker to fabricate you something custom to fit your baggage? 🤔 I agree it is pretty pricy but after two years it still looks like the day I bought it - very rugged and high quality. Cheers from Canada!
Nice video. Do you know what the interior dimensions of the bag are? It'd be nice if you could fit even a small fuel bottle in it just in case. Even 20 oz.
I don't know right off the top the interior dimensions - its not really that large though. You might be able to find a small fuel canister that could fit in there, but not sure I would put fuel in it.
Karl Roy ok but what about the stuff you put in the bag? I hope the stuff in the bag is heat resistant because if not good luck! The bag looks great but it’s practically sitting on the exhaust, WTF
Lash Lareau around $350 Canadian give or take for the authentic triumph brand... I have seen other brands for as low as $150ish but the leather usually is not has ridged or form holding). And typically is black only (not the greenish olive colour) 👍🏻
Thanks Karl, I think I'll go for it. I've checked out all other options and I'm concerned that some of those bag would become loose fitting with time a touch the exhaust pipe!!! P.S. I've seen them as low as $315.00 (CAD) on one website
i bought a 26$ bag on amazon,cause no way was i going to spend 300$. i love my bad it's seems to be leather has 3 straps no bracket.i used 3 zip-ties,included also.looks great,works great.everybody likes it.
