if you scroll down to the tyre pressure monitoring screen and then scroll left it should show your overall mileage and when your next service is due. hope this helps
Awesome thank you. I must say some people has been mentioning this but mine did not have vibes at all. I have sat a few times on the motorway at 70-80mph and its been super smooth. So I would say no. This also applies to the Tiger 850 Sport. Really nice smooth bike to ride. Hope this helps and good luck.
thanks for the review, i am currently awaiting the New spec Tracer 9 GT so see if they have improved the TFT before i part with my money, i only prefer the Tracer 9GT because the Paniers are clean, loved my test ride on the 900GT pro its a shame there is alot of scaffolding if you want boxes
That Tracer 9 is a great looking bike too and I would have looked at the Yamaha bikes too but I dont have a dealer close by at all. But I am going to make a plan to get out some or other time to go and visit a showroom. I would like to have a look at the Tenere 700 too. Hope you like the bike when it lands and the TFT is upto spec.
There are a few guys that mentioned this but here in the UK it never get that hot and I have not experienced it at all. I do a 10 mile ride to work and back and sit in the traffic and never had heat so much on my legs that it make it noticeable. If I compare that to the BMW R-NineT I had its nothing. Hope this helps.
It was the road version of the SurRon Light Bee. I used that bike for about a year and a half to ride to work and back. Awesome bike. I just could not keep two bikes and I had some problems with weather proofing on the switch gear that caused some intermittent cut outs. This was because the bike was standing in the rain for the whole day while I was in the office. Best way to prevent this is to cover the bike to keep it dry while standing outside. I have got a full bike license so cannot comment on the CBT. But because the bike is classed as a moped upto 30mph it should be allowed I think. Hope this helps.
I’m just about to trade my crf300 rally in towards this TT pro 😂😂😂 the crf is fantastic but the throttle is more on/off so less relaxing for long rides. Come to the Isle of Man and try it but you’d need to be quick!
Oh man, this is why I was trying to get a test ride at some of the dealers but the bikes are as rare as hens teeth. The Tiger is just such a nice easy to ride bike. Everything works and it looks and sounds awesome. I think with another can on the back it would even sound better. Good luck with the choice to move to the Tiger. I am really hoping that Triumph comes out with a 660 that has offroad ability. This will be my perfect bike for this time in my life. I dont need a massive long distance touring bike, just needs to be able to get me out for that 2-3 hours on the road and then some gravel track if I find out. Keep well and thanks for the comment.
Great video, I’m a new owner of a 900 gt and still getting used to it coming off a crf 250 l. Both bikes are fantastic for what they are built for. Absolutely love this new tiger. Crf was a lot of fun in the dirt and not so much on the road except for short distances. This tiger is just the opposite. I can’t get over how well this bike handles the road and the acceleration is quite surprising. Only complaint I have is in my opinion 6 th gear should be a bit taller for interstate riding.
Yes that would help on those long open roads. I can think the Tiger 900 would be a different machine but as you say both has their pros and cons. The Tiger can be a bit of a handful if you are a smaller novice rider in the dirt where the smaller 250 would be spot on. Thanks for the comment and watching. Its much appreciated. And enjoy that Tiger.
Just found it on display style 2 (my favourite style at the moment) when scrolling up or down on the joystick to service due it shows it in the top right!
Thanks Mike, its much appreciated. Been really enjoying the bike. Went out for a 2 hour ride yesterday and super comfortable and fun to explore on. Keep well.
The mileage briefly flashes up at the top centre of the tft when you switch the ignition on (and off). It only comes on for a second though! Apart from that I can't find it anywhere in the menu having just tried looking! I have never reset trip 2 since I collected the bike new from the dealer so that also tells me the total mileage, but if the battery is disconnected I'm guessing that will reset.
Awesome and yes I spotted that but I am usually too slow to spot it as this is the time I make sure the gloves and other bits are all good before I set off.
