The Triumph Tiger 900 was launched in 2020 and is still very popular among touring enduro enthusiasts today. A revised version of the model will be in showrooms from 2024. Same engine as before - but a lot more power. Is the new Triumph Tiger 900 just a minor update or a completely different bike?

More horses.... but they're all heaped up in the last 2500rpm of the entire rev range where ADV riders seldom go. That tacho is a welcome relief from what it is now. The dampened handlebars are interesting -- here's hoping someone would make an aftermarket equivalent that can be retrofitted to current Tiger 900s. I wonder if those new cut-outs in the side panels finally divert hot air from the radiator away from your legs...

Im my 2021 model i can customize the rally pro drive mode to have off road abs on the front. As default it turns everything off, but you can turn it on in the settings. Really like the looks and would love to have 10 more hp on mine. By some reason i do not like that display at first glance, i think that only belongs on the big 1200. The voiceover is fine, but having one in the background talking on another language is a bit distracting.

it's hard to understand why they can't come up with a nice graphics on the screen. Previuos generation had RPMs to small to see properly, but looked pretty. This one isn't really an improvement, more like downgrade. No more ability to choose colours and only two styles which are basically identical to each other, and just isn't visually appealing. The worst part that current revs are marked in red, the few thousands of RPMs before redline is marked in red, and redlline and below it is marked in red too (5:41 and 14:52). So, I wonder if it's possible to see when revs are hitting redline. Probably even harder than the previuos model. They should just give the design to any 18 year old designer and they would make it to look nicer and more functional.

Is the tiger 900 the same frame as the 900gt; for adding top box and pannier bars?

GT PRO does not let you configure PRELOAD on the REAR suspension. Yo have only FOUR PRELOAD POSITIONS: NO PRELOAD; 92% PRELOAD; 96% PRELOAD; 100% PRELOAD There is NO WAY to configure preload to get CORRECT SAG for SOLO RIDER and his riding style. That is a HUGE OMISSION on part of Triumph. Did you even try to setup the correct preload on GT PRO?

How much difference is there with the Handling between Rally Pro & Gt pro on the road - i have gtpro 900 at the minute but want a Rally pro for touring etc but 21 wheel is putting me off thinking it will not handle as well

There never was front preload on the GT models, only the Rally models. The GT Pro always had an electronically adjustable rear shock.

My GT PRO has front preload adjustment. Read the manual.

@@TheMrColak No, the GT models don't have adjustable front preload, that is on the Rally Model only. Tell me which page of the manual you are referring to? Rear preload yes but not on the front. Forget the manual, you say yours has it, how are you adjusting it?

@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuffoh my god, you are right!! 😲I confused my self with my other bike (Kawasaki Z900RS)!!! You are absolutely right, there is only rebound and compression, no preload setting on my GT PRO!

there was an issue with heat from radiator vents.did they improve this?i dont see anything

They added a little holes on the side of the main vent to help to evacuate the heat , seems that help but didn't try it yet 🙂
