After an expensive mistake and some machine work, the pistons are finally installed. Not my best moments, but they're in!

Yes, much better. One size, obviously, but worth it especially considering what happened breaking a ring

Engine building = "rocket surgery"! 😎 It's interesting how close the piston/con rod assembly weights were. You mentioned foimg ahead and doing further balancing after the ring mishap... while waiting for parts. Did you do that weight matching yourself or have a shop do it?

Hi Alan. I had a shop do it. Since the pistons and cylinders are matched, I asked them to balance/lighted the conn rods to equalize it all across the motor. Had them put in and hone small end bushings, too.

Too bad about the basketball game at the same time as recording your video. I couldn't finish the video due to the sound of the bouncing of the ball hammering in my ears.

Sorry about that, George. I didn't realize it would be that bad. Next time I'll edit it out or just not release the video. Thanks for giving it a go.
