Thanks for taking the time to make this post. It helped my buddy with his truck. Egads, it's not like back when. Now you check codes and then go to your computer and punch in a phrase. There, you find twenty other people that are way better than you(me) at it that have done doughnuts around the subject. I don't feel like a hero anymore when I fix things!

I just solved a P0455 and a P0411 on my 2006. took it in for emissions and no power to the DLC, came home pulled the fuse, it was good. put it back in and all good.....the p0455 was the canister vent solenoid, and the purge valve on the drivers side of the block. the p0411 was the secondary air pump solenoid on the passenger exhaust manifold

They're called ignition coils. Most of your newer cars use them. Coil packs & distributors are not as effective or as efficient as individual ignition coils , and in my experience,they tend to last much longer (than coil packs). The only downside i see with the coil-on-plug setups is the cost of replacing each coil. In motorsports most import cars that use distributors will modify their ignition system to use a coil-on-plug setup because its much more efficient at delivering spark

What "most" people don't realize, is when you add a fuel system cleaner to your gas tank, you want as LESS gas there to be efficient cleaning the injectors !! Too much gas dilutes the cleaner, hence they sell MORE of it!! 1/8th to 1/4 tank of gas is BEST !! I've been a mechanic 40 years, so I know a few things hahaha...

I change #4 to #3 and the check engine light is of and I check with the AUTOLINK and nothing came out. What should I do next? Leave it like that?

I had a 85 k5 too. But this trailblazer is misfiring. . . Same code❤ never had this many problems with the k5. Already ran injector cleaner through it its getting worse...

That's a much better design than the standard coil pack and plug wires setup. With that design if a coil goes bad you can just replace the bad coil without having to replace the entire coil pack. Also, you don't have plug wires to fiddle with, and the plugs are right on top where you can get to them easily instead of being down on the side where they're hard to get to. Just way better all around
