I'm very fortunate that both my daughters really enjoy going along with me. My older daughter has not made an appearance in a video, but she's says one day she will.

Kenny, Adele is just delightful! Cute as can be too! My daughter is all grown up now with two little boys of her own (which I just love of course) but there is nothing like spending quality time together making memories that will last a lifetime! I think it’s wonderful that you have such a gift to give her. Your time and attention, out in nature to boot, is worth more than all the money and ridiculous toys in the world. You do find some beautiful spots! It was great to see you and your daughter enjoy camping together, makes for stronger father/daughter bond. It was awesome, even if the weather didn't want to cooperate. I was surprised with how wet it was we didn't see much for bugs. I'll definitely be back to that spot.
These times are so valuable . I enjoyed camping with my dad. He always found the nicest places to boon dock. Those places are now gone , but I still have the memories

Hey Kenny. Love your channel; have been following it for 3 or 4 months now, and recently started watching some of the ones going back over the last year or more. I've enjoyed every one, but I think this particular one might be one of the best I've seen (beautiful videography, scenery, background music) and having your daughter along was icing on the cake. Looks like she takes after her dad in many ways, and is a tribute to the special relationship you two have. I live in the Texas "Hill Country" (northwest of Austin about an hour), where it's a bit too hot in the summer for my liking (e.g., was 100° or higher most days during July and August last year, and averaging just slightly less than that this year). So I really enjoy watching your winter truck camping videos when it's super hot down here. I've been an avid birdwatcher since the late 1970s, and just wanted to mention the bird you noted on this particular video, which appears to be a Ruffed Grouse (so that was also a cool part of the video). Some years ago (back in the 1990s) was able to make a couple birding trips to NE Minnesota, once in mid-June and once in early February; both times I stayed with friends in Two Harbors, where he and his family lived for a few years before being transferred to International Falls; he worked as a fisheries biologist with Minnesota DNR). While up there we visited some great birding sites (Sax Zim Bog being one of them). And of course, the north shore of Lake Superior is breathtaking. Anyway, first heard of your channel when Jack mentioned it in his "Tiny Cabin Life" RU-vid channel. Sorry for being so longwinded, but please keep up the good work, and give Toby a scratch behind the ears for me. All the best!

I have been binging your videos lately. Love seeing you out with your beautiful daughter! I am curious what craft she is working on while traveling. I love seeing young people enjoying the simple things. It is a fast paced world now, which makes for a stressed out soul. You are doing good to keep her grounded with nature.
So great that you share that sense of discovery with your daughter. You may not think much of it now but it makes a lasting impression on them. I just came back from visiting my son and his family. During one of our talks, he recounted several of our camp trips when he was 6-7 and all the silly adventures we had.

I'm catching up on your older videos and came across this one... wonderful on so many levels, making these memories with your beautiful daughter and the awesome photography, what an experience! We camped when I was growing up and they are my best memories. Still camping, now with my sons and their families and I still love it. You are a great dad!

Hey Kenny,full time truck camper here. I travel and work all over NC and make a habit to visit with my daughter every week on the coast. She is a little older than yours and also married but the time is truly treasured. Enjoy every minute you can.

I love how u were hiking with Adelle and immediately turned back when u saw blue tarps meaning some folks were camping there. I completely agree with u not to approach people camping. I have a friend that did the Appalachian Trail in 4 segments. It is 2190 miles. From near Asheville, NC to Katahdin, ME. To do it all at on time takes 5 to 7 months. Great video!
The Appalachian trail is hard core. That takes some serious dedication. I figure the Superior trail would take about 30 days. A few years ago a co-worker saved up his comp time and vacation time and did the Superior trail in 3 weeks. Completing the Appalachian trail would require some life changes.
