Hi Dauminique I am owner operator in Cleveland Ohio , I want to switch to dump truck, can you please advise or help how I can involve in this dump truck as a operator. Thank you 😊
Crazy how this video randomly popped up on my newsfeed. I know this exact route. It’s on larch way/ magnolia road. That roundabout crosses bothell/lynnwood lol
My hats off to you. I drove tractor trailers most of my life, and drove dump trucks and dump tractor trailers for a few years. The dump trucks were the hardest to me, you had to be on the ball all the time, and not get stuck in the dirt(cardinal sin) or dump on an uneven surface, and have the truck frame bent.
Right on Dominique!! It's pretty cool to see how a young lady makes her living in the trucking industry. I was a company driver delivering fuel to gas stations in CA for almost 20 years. Really good driving skills you have backing with a dolly attachment. Proud of you!! Thumbs up and subscribed.
There are trailers ''Transfer trucks'' you unhook the trailer, dump then the trailer box goes into the truck box you dump the other half of your load then put the box back. The idea with the transfer you put a full load in a small space! California design.
Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make Mistake but they don’t quit... As the economic crisis keep rising, we literally need to have different streams of income. The crypto market has plenty opportunities to earn a decent Payouts with the right skills and proper Understanding of how the market works.
Yeah you're absolutely right..... Lots of people are still making massive profits from the stock and crypto market, all you really need is some relevant information and some professional advice. It is totally inappropriate for investors to stand by as they take dips during significant market diclinism
@@lorenaann2879 A good investment requires experience and knowledge to carry out a successful operation. Professionally, it is recommended to trade with experienced brokers, who can help you increase your profits while helping you learn the trade
Well I invest with a top trader Investor Ashton Edwards you might have heard of him.. I can correctly say he's the best top trader in the world, an investment advisor as his diversification skills are great, I say this because i see that in his results as my portfolio grows by averages of 25% to 35% on a weekly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. He gave me that financial freedom I needed
@@lorenaann2879 Honestly I really need help with learning how to trade. Seeing my portfolio low makes me very sad. Please do you mind sharing any means of reaching out to him easily?
after working as a truck driver and then equipment operator most my life I get a kick out of you calling a bucket load a SCOOP .I never was asked to load a SCOOP. your great. hard worker keep on truckin love your channel.
Your fuel mileage is pretty good considering your load weight. I used to average 50 gallons/ day and I only had a tri-axle, no pup trailer. I did haul an equipment trailer a lot though. You’re right about that sketchy dump site, watching that trailer made me a bit nervous. Dump trailers make me nervous anyway. You don’t feel the lean like you can in the cab seat.
Whenever I saw the trailer tip I was like “oh crap!”. Whenever I haul to the concrete plant and that happens I think to myself please don’t tip over. Lol!
Very cool video today Dauminique, really enjoyed the camera locations today . Seems like your dump locations were in pretty tight areas. You are a very skilled driver. Also like your videos. Hopefully you get paid for your work soon.
Your a smooth operator from what I seen on your cameras you take pride in your job .I understand what your saying about backing up your pup I think we drivers all did that at one time .keep up they good work .your truly pat.
I just stubbled across you channel and relized you are in my old stomping grounds. I used to work for lake side industries hauling asphalt many years ago 1982 to 1989. Miss that job.
Hi, I'm a retired truck driver from a blasting company and that's the first time I saw a trouble being dumped. We don't see them much where I'm from. Your very good at what you do. Be careful out there. 👍
Diesel here in southeast Idaho is $3.63 per gallon unless you go to a Love's or Flying J and then it's $4.45 per gallon. I used to do a lot of tonnage jobs and haven't done one in probably 10 plus years because it's always been on the losing end on pay, the only way we could make anything is if we loaded heavy and it's just not worth it so I've been hourly only or I bid the entire job myself. Nice hustle!
Informative, riding with you on Shilshole Ave to Market street in Ballard a short while ago. I've been "driving" up-and-down those streets using the Google, 360 degree street view and satellite view. That corner lot is always pictured as a solid slab of old concrete. But now you've shown something different. I'm looking forward to seeing what's being built there when I drive by it in September. There will be ten of us in a van on the way to the locks.
I like coffee too. I drive an 18 wheeler. Thinking very seriously about switching to dump trucks. Tired of being on the road all the time. I want to be home every day. Keep up the good work.
I haven't seen your videos in quite a while. I had forgot how talented you are among other things. Glad I found you again. I hope you get better and better jobs in the days ahead.
As a general rule tonnage hauls are worth doing if and only if the mileage is short enough that you're actually being paid more than you get for hourly work or mileage work (if legal; it's not here in the UK). That said, I'm sure that Bobby and you can work out the breakeven points for your company, so I'm saying this as a general piece of free advice from someone who's done some cost accounting,
I love you channel. It’s very nice seeing all the roads I know I’m also trying to get my CDl scared me when you said it’s hard to get a dump truck job you are an inspiration
Thats a neat retaining wall their stackin up there. Road fuel is about $3.80 to $4 per gallon here. In general fuel should stay around that for most of the summer. Nice haulin vidja.
Is that a C12 cat in that truck or C15 ? Love the videos and thanks for sharing your adventures . When is Bobby’s truck going hit the roads ? Can’t wait to see that truck working also . 😎
I’ve often wondered what it’s like to drive these trucks. Thanks for filming and discussing. Related to this video, in general does the drop area have to be flat, or can the truck safely operate with a slight side to side incline? It is fascinating to watch the entire operation!
You want the drop zone to level side to side, but most rigs will accommodate some slope. Saying which this is safer with steel springs or if you can dump air out the rear axle bags to get the centre of gravity down,
You have Mad skills. I love watching you drive that truck. Enjoy your videos as always. Sound could be better. When the ads come on they blast loudly 📣
As an ex UK Dump Trucker(retired), I would be interested in your legal breaks from driving. Here in UK is basically 4.5hrs driving 45 min break or 6 hours work, whatever comes first, which includes driving, but not 4.5 hours driving, 30 min break minimum but you would take the 45 to avoid a further stop little while later. Sounds complicated but its not. Your videos convey what a typical dump driver faces daily, number of loads in a day to make a living. People focus on the income figure but do not take into account the expenses, so your bottom line is not that great, well lets hope you make enough to buy a new truck after 5 years. The hassles of being in business. Good Luck.
I pull houses now but use to run a tei axle part time helping haul base and asphalt, the truck I drove iad a decal on tailgate said, "just trying to get my "rocks off". Your be shocked at reactions I got from some folks
Curious, in the beginning if I heard you right, you said, 5 loads would get you about $2200? So I’m assuming you got around $13.50 a ton on this job? Pretty got money young lady! Nice driving
