Some Big players in that segment, i remember seeing H.Baker all over the place nice varied fleet. I also worked on Fastmag contract (Macfarlane) in Gildersome. Nice memories from lots of hauliers. Thanks for posting 😀👍🏻

3:13 , The good old Berliet, Drove a 260 I think, It was OK for 32 tons, for its day a roomy cab. I see Rottdeans marked on the side, would that be good old Rothdeans Trailers from the Forest of Dean. Thanks for those memories, as always spot on, Thanks.

We had two Chinese Foden twinsteers @ 10.28 in the fleet at Yardleys in Leeds. Terrible to drive in the wet, I tried to avoid driving them at all costs.

Any photos of Smethwick West Midlands based haulage company available to see name Davis Haulage Rolfe street Smethwick,the trucks were green and white on general haulage but for a long time carrying steel.
