@@itzamia right.....the US ranks about 36th overall in the world in public education.Its one of the only sectors that always gets funding lowered in the budget.The idea is to "accidentally" but on purpose reduce the funding so that the schools that have the lowest ratings are shut down,and in their place private institutions emerge.... It's a slimy form of corporate welfare.The infastructure is already in place, courtesy of the tax payers.It's also why the US pretends so hard to hide the socialist manner,and to help deflect that,they bash all the socialist countries...or destroy them,I guess they make the US look bad.Just think.....Libya had free Education for all,free top tier healthcare,gas was almost nothing to buy there,and Amy citizen could get free land and no cost to get infastructure to their property.If only they bowed down to the Rulers of the Petrodollar.The sad irony...and I emphasize SAD....is the US won't even supply the basic healthcare coverage for all it's people.... Because of greed and self entitlement.....But the ones that are telling you that you can't just that....Get it all for free..on your dime....funny how that works isn't it? Registered Republicans is the least educated demographic in America. I'm not suggesting they are stupid, just pointing out that this demographic has the lowest education level in America. It doesn't help that the GOP preaches that any form of education is indoctrination, while Fox News is airing stories about how colleges are a waste of time and money. But, it's by design. I wore the bunny costume for 4 seasons at my local mall. It was fun, un fun, weird, wild, hilarious, etc. I was about 8 feet tall in the suit, a little intimidating, I know. Obviously, I was there for the kids, but I had some of the best times on school days, playing around with the older mall walkers. I would come off my stage and just goof around with them. When an older person's inner child comes out, it is just as magical as a child's wonder.

When my nephew was little ( now in his 40s) we went to the mall and there was a tall guy in a bunny suit standing there. Poor kid was so scared when he moved (I guess thought it was a stuffed animal) he started crying. I stopped and explained it's a man in a costume nothing scary just fake imaginary fun like Halloween. After that he was cool with such things .

And I wonder why anyone would allow, no less encourage, strangers to talk about sex to their 5 to 9 year old kids. If someone in a park or mall, let's say, walked up to your kid and began talking about their genitalia would that be okay with you? I know it wouldn't have been with me! I never knew anything about my teachers' home lives no less about their sex lives.

all those people dressed up as the Easter bunny reminded me of a suspicious Christmas Eve when my parents tried to fool me with a fake Santa Claus visit. at 4 1/2 I believed in a lot of stuff but when your parents start acting weird. Asking me if I could hear the reindeer on the roof when there was no such sound, then getting giggly when some guy knocks on our door ho ho ho-ing. Well, the guy did give me a cool toy... but I could tell by their voices they were telling me a tall tale. at the same age I remember hearing that most creepy Christmas song on the radio, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". " he knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake. he knows when you've been good or bad, so be good for goodness sake!" That song would make the hair stand up on my neck. I pictured Santa peeking in the windows watching me. That always gave me a severely creepy feeling. At least the Easter bunny doesn't act like a peeping Tom.

After reading all previous responses to your share I’ve come to realize none of those people know what the True meaning of Christmas is. It’s about the birth of Christ and that’s it. “Santa” as he is called is a creation devised for purely materialistic reasons. I have delightful feminine French clown costumes I've sewn over the years, however as I work with children, I observed that many younger ones were frightened by clowns. I discovered the trick was to not paint my face or wear a mask. They have no problem with the costume provided I wear my normal makeup with only the addition of long glittery colored eyelashes. I frequently offer face painting when I make appearances and afterward let them paint my face. They love that and express no fear after they are finished.
