I took that test to get my driver license. I am 84 and aced the test. Remembering the words was the hardest part but I got all of them. The rest of the test a grade school kid could do that easily. 🇨🇦

My mother, who had mild cognitive impairment in her 90s (mild, but significant enough that she could no longer live alone, so i was her live-in carer), took it every three months and always passed it. Everyone passes it except those who are massively impaired. And, there are no multiplication or division questions on it. His complete refusal-- or inability -- to understand how this test is used and to grasp that passing it means nothing other than "You don't yet have advanced dementia" should, in itself, be disqualifying for office.

He is talking about the "Mini-Cog" test. Anybody can pull it up online. I took it years ago and still remember Heaven, Daughter, Mountain were my words. During his interview, 4 days after his Mini-Cog test, he not recall the 3 words given in his Mini-Cog test but he couldn't even think of or come up words of his own from thinking. He had to actually look for something in front of him in order to come up with up a word. This really shows how poor his cognitive skills are.

The dementia test isn't really for passing or failing. It's to guage where the dementia or brain trauma is. But they also need a brain scan to see if there is atrophy. I took a test when I was younger to see if I have learning disabilities.

The judge can just do that himself. No, it's called Jury Nullification! It is an honor to be on a jury because in the United States the People are in charge! When someone goes on trial that law also goes on trial. The jury can change that one law, not every law, but that one law-- if they feel it's a bad law! That is why it's such an honor!!
