When Sean Spicer was on Dancing with the Stars and cracking jokes with Stephen Colbert I was so angry and disappointed... I appreciate Seth Meyers and his staff for their artistic integrity. Edit: i can't stand that i've started this series of Colbert-bashing comments, that wasn't my point at all. I absolutely love Colbert and i thought it was very unlike him to cozy up to such a harmful figure as Spicer. Deep down i've always believed that he didn't wanna do it, but his hands were tied by the network and the man is so good at his job that he did it with a smile and nobody noticed. Seth's comment just reminded me of my realization on that day: it's all for entertainment purposes.

Typically when you kick heroin, the feeling of being "slimy" isnt a thing. Body sweats, hot flashes, cold spells, shivering, nauseau, sensitivity to light, etc etc. So are you suggesting that you would morally feel "slimy"? Drug addiction isnt a moral failure, its a health crisis.

There's a Republican who has sent out flyers telling us to vote for him. Here's the best part: we're not eligible to vote in said election. He's running in a special election for the district my town will be in. We aren't part of it until the election in November. Fun fact: this Republican worked in the Trump administration, some how. There was another Republican who served our current district in congress for 1 term. He campaigned in his neighborhood in 2018, which isn't in our district. I'd say Republicans need geography lessons, but they also need history, civics, economics and sociology lessons as well.

I agree that they need to pay for what they did. It seems like the democrats are letting opportunities to put down Republicans go by far too often. They are also not taking nearly enough advantage of their current situation in government, even if only to undo all the harm Trump did. They should have gotten rid of nearly enough Trump era trash, and moved on to repairing what has needed repairs for years. Michigan's water crisis, the climate crisis, the fact that the USA is so behind on upgrading and expanding mass transit, upping the minimum wage, and on and on. What's the hold up guys? Are your corporate backers getting too anxious? It's really sad that everything in this world is about getting as much money as possible.
