about 20 years ago I worked for an older gentleman that served in the Royal Navy. He and his brother both flew Sea Furys in the Korean War. oh the stories he told me, I'll treasure them forever. Love that Aircraft to bits! I really need to get back to the kit i started about 5 years ago! Thanks for this video & the inspiration it has brought to me and many!

excellent finished model , really looks great , for a modern kit though it does not go together that well with some amount of filling required , i really dont know why manufacturers cant do better in this day and age , for the amount we pay for kits its really not good enough .

Great modelling and nice result. If I may I would query the angles of wing fold. These look like they should lean into the fuselage far more. I did a 1:48 one laat year using PP Aerokits folding wing and the angle on it is closer to 45 degrees. Trumpeter research ?

Good point! I didn't check that the brackets that came with the kit had the right angles....

@@KillBoxScalemodelling 14 August is coming when Pakistan got independence from UK so why do not you do something special and make a Hawker Tempest Mk 2 which was the first fighter of the country or a sea fury fb 60 which was the second fighter of the country. Love from Pakistan.

I presume the real Sea Fury at the beginning of this clip is a replica and not original, because it has Allied invasion stripes, yet it was clearly stated that this plane didn't enter service until 2 years after WW2 ended. If it's not a replica why does it have the stripes?

I haven't checked out his music yet, so I don't know - any particular song you can recommend ? The songs (and the original artists) for the music I use in my videos are royalty free and I always put the names in the description.

Trumpeters Sea Fury has some not easy to fix issues, as many Trumpeter model kits have. The wing shape in top view is wrong and the lower cockpit frame has a bow where the original is almost straight. I'm done with Trumpeter.

I am tired of 1/72 scale.!! They are too small for good detailing.!!! My prefered scale is 1/48, and as second choice, the 1/32.!!! That permit us to work really good detail.!!!

It's all about the paint and weathering in 1/72. I share your frustration. I have no desire to buy photo etched parts and scratchbuilding in that scale is almost impossible.

I agree that 1/72 is a bit limiting in terms of detailing and weathering, but for me the finished model has a nice size, since I don't have so much space for my models.

Sorry, but, if your going to do a video, at least make it a moving one, see stage by stage like this is tedious to say the least, look at other on RU-vid, there are some very good ones, two or three building a Fury.......😳

Thanks for feedback on the format of this channel. Most people just give a Thumbs Down and leave without giving any clue on what it was that they didn't like about the content. The main reason that I haven't done any live build sessions is that my camera and lighting setup restricts me too much when I build. I have done some experimentation with different setups but haven't found anything that works for me yet. But my goal is to get a couple of DV cameras so I can shoot from different angles at the same time.
