Wow wow You all don’t know how much I needed to hear this podcast …the whole dealing with your partner not being at the same “level” as you are with God has been something super big in my marriage and hearing this was eye opening I needed this so much. Please continue to make these marriage podcasts because this episode was a huge Blessing to my life and heart.. and definitely in my walk with Jesus

Thank you both for opening up like this. I have been going through the same thing as far as trying to guilt my husband into leading us spiritually, or just feeling resentful at him. I felt the same conviction from God, that I should continue on my path and just pray for him. And it was almost like an instant transformation in me. The anger lifted from me and just like you said, I was able to love him where he was, and him seeing the changes in me, inspired him. I just love this podcast! You truly are doing what you were meant to do. ❤❤❤

Thank you guys so much for being so vulnerable with your audience. i also commend you both for making a commencement to be honest about your faith walk in marriage. I am also 25 and while it could be easy for me to feel jealous or envious that you have something I desire (family/marriage) the thing about god's timing is that He knew I wasn't mature enough to walk a walk like yours. i am so encouraged by this message and pray you continue to grow in your faith and family. God bless you and your family!

My favorite episode so far! I related to soooo much. I struggled with porn too. I was introduced to it at a very early age & it was even harder to talk about because I’m a woman so I feel like it’s even more taboo. & I am currently struggling with my husband spiritually leading our household. I’m always praying for him. And like you said you don’t wanna guilt them or make them feel less than and sometimes that ugliness does rear its head. My absolute favorite episode. So much struck home.

You guys have a such a beautiful and strong relationship. I am a recovering addict and just celebrated 10 years clean last month. And there should not be any stigma around any addiction. Even tho being clean and sober is a blessing, people still look at me differently bc they don’t expect me to have the past that I do. And same with porn. There is a stigma around almost all addictions. And I am very proud of the openness you share surrounding your struggles and the strength that God gives us. Love this podcast! I look forward to it each day week making my Mondays a little brighter! ❤

So thankful for this podcast! Specially becuase it brings me closer in my relationship with God. It sometimes is difficult to figure out how to deal with everything that we deal with in life! I'm getting married in June, in my relationship with my husband there is still so much to learn. About him but also about serving God in our relationship first. I've been struggling with the fact that I am more busy with the word of God, praying more than my partner is. I know the reason for him, and I pray for Jesus to shine a light on my soon to be husband. But I still could not accept the fact that I couldn't do more for my fiance, to help him. While listening to this podcast I grabbed my Bible, took notes, your conversation was just so inspiring! God works through you, to serve so many people in their journey with our Lord! God bless you ❤🙏 greetings from the Netherlands!

thank you for this podcast it is always so encouraging and helpful to me in this season of life. i have a question for any experienced christian wife here, i love how Devin talked about the 1 Peter verse and what she had to say about not bickering at your husband and telling him that he needs to be more spiritual and lead his family and just spend more time in the word and praying on the wives own. my struggle in my situation with my husband is not knowing when to bring things up to him that i need for him to do better in. should i not bring them up to him (my husband) at all and just take it to the Lord and pray Gods will be done in my husbands life? i am always trying to be so supportive of my husband and encouraging and tell him how much i appreciate the things he does and then maybe we have a rough couple of days and he’s not there for me when i need him and i just don’t know how to express that to him without tearing him down and making him feel like he’s not a good husband because the thought of that breaks my heart. i feel like i can’t shove all of my feelings down and never express how his actions make me feel and i know to always trust in the Lord and be praying for my husband so does that mean to just let it go? if anyone has any experience/insight on this please weigh in
