What is the longest word in your language? Today, they try to pronounce the longest words in Asian languages! (India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, USA) Did they well? Let's see!
Oh my god Violin really did a good job being our representative, she has good english, korean and that public speaking really hit the spot! Please invite her again in more upcoming videos!!!
“Bangkok” is the old name when it was only a small port town in the Ayuthaya period. When the Ayuthaya Kingdom was destroyed and the Thai moved their capital to Bangkok, they brought their old capital name from Ayuthaya to replace “Bangkok” and added some more words to elongate the name for a ceremonial purpose only. The full ceremonial name for Ayuthaya (when it was the capital city) is “Krung Thep Mahanakorn Baworn Davarvati Sri Ayuthaya Mahadilokphop Nopharat Rachathani Burirom” (กรุงเทพมหานครบวรทวาราวดีศรีอยุทธยา มหาดิลกภพนพรัตน ราชธานีบุรีรมย์:) While the full new ceremonial name of Bangkok (when it became the capital city) is just like what she said in this video😅.
No, I don't think that is accurate. The full name of Bangkok should be
As an Indonesian, I think it's about time 'tanggung jawab' being retired from the videos about longest words. It's been shown three times in three different videos.
Because it was most used one, while the other 2 longest word in Indonesian is rarely used. Heksakosioiheksekontaheksafobia (Phobia of number 666 ) Paraskavedekatriafobia ( Phobia to the day of Friday)
@@afaridpirmansyah7867The reason is simple. Most people don't know about those two words. They've never even heard about them. Those words are specific to certain fields of study.
กรุงเทพฯ ชื่อเต็มยาวมาก แต่น่าจะแปลให้เค้ารู้ความหมายหน่อย ในคำยาวๆพวกนั้นสรุปความหมายคือ ดินแดนสิงสถิตของเหล่าถวยเทพ In full name of BKK In long words, the summary of the meaning is the land of the gods (many many gods).
Violin is my fav shes fluent in many languages she represent Indonesian so well and she explain everything with detail so we easily can understand all of the value in every content in this channel
Ayuthuya is Ayodhya in Hindi/Sanskrit which means unconquerable City. Thai and Indonesia even Vietnam has some Indian Sanskrit influence like Aditya is Sun in Indonesia and Sanskrit and Thai too (ancient word).
Not that ancient. In Thai, Sunday is called ah-thit, clearly derived from 'aditya' from Sanskrit. All days of the week and all months are named after Sanskrit, December > Thanwakom (dhanu + agom).
You know better than the Thai girl, she should prepare more before playing this game. like the Indonesian girl said, actually Krungthep Mahanakoen's full name has full of very good meaning and it means too much to all Thai.
Actually, "Nghiêng" is the longest monosyllable word with 7 letters. In Vietnamese, we separate the syllables of word by the space, not put it together like many languages. Most of words are combined by 1, 2 or 3 syllables like "nguệch ngoạc", "khoảng cách", "sự hình thành"... Rarely there is any word has more than 4 syllables, usually a phrase. For example the English word in the video, translate into Vietnamese would be "Bệnh phổi gây ra bởi sự hít vào bụi silic rất mịn dẫn đến viêm phổi". This is the name of a type of lung disease with detailed, and we considered that as a noun phrase, not a word.
Violin or viola idk.. she should represent Indonesia more.. she speaks english , korean so fluent... and how she explain everything is just easy to understand and chill and relax.. so calm... and how she dress so modest . I love her more than any other Indonesia representatif in kinda video... Semangat vio...
Basa Sunda (one of the regional languages in Indonesia, Sundanese language) 🇮🇩 : Sampurasun Sadayana, abdi urang Sunda ti Cianjur (ᮞᮙ᮪ᮕᮥᮛᮞᮥᮔ᮪ ᮞᮓᮚᮔ, ᮃᮘ᮪ᮓᮤ ᮅᮛᮀ ᮞᮥᮔ᮪ᮓ ᮒᮤ ᮎᮤᮃᮔ᮪ᮏᮥᮁ) Bahasa Indonesia 🇮🇩 : Halo semua, saya orang Sunda dari Cianjur. English : Hello everyone, I am Sundanese from Cianjur It's spell S U N D A Sunda, not Sudan guys. Many people misspell our ethnic name
I'm really happy that they are giving chance to Indians also ...i really enjoyed the video .. and the people who are saying that she is not beautiful let me tell you nobody knows how hard she is working so , we should appreciate there efforts.... waiting for more videos 😊😊
The Vietnamese one is misleading. Nghiêng is the longest monosyllabic (one syllable) word but there are many words with 2 or more syllables. While I'm not exactly sure which would be considered the longest polysyllabic (many syllable) word, just a few examples show this point: đại sứ quán (embassy), trường đại học (university, as a physical space) or giao tiếp xã hội (socialising). Another few examples are acidification which is sự axit hoá (4 syllables) and educative which is also 4 syllables: mang tính giáo dục. Of course, the concept of a word varies depending on the context. Even something like "tùm lum tà la" could be considered one word (chaotic, messy).
@@laanhi7248 Okay but she's still wrong to say that nghiêng is the longest "word" because it isn't as I've explained. Also, just because a syllable stands alone doesn't mean it carries meaning by itself. There are cases where a word is 2 syllables but only carries its meaning when the 2 are paired together. An example is the word cù lao which needs both parts to form the word and meaning. Another similar word is tào lao which also needs both parts. Sometimes individual syllables have meanings but they are not always connected to that of the 2 syllables put together. The word điên thoại is 1 single word and longer than nghiêng. Điện thoại di động and điện thoại thông minh are also technically one word too depending on how you view it.
What you're explaining to foreigners is wrong! Examble at least. another misleading.
tanggung di tanggungjawab bukan berarti hampir, tapi artinya menerima, menahan, jadi tangungjawab artinya menerima segala akibat, dan disini kita lihat memang lidah orang indonesia paling mudah menerima bahasa lain, dan bahasa indonesia juga mudah diucapkan orang lain
As a indian there are so many languages as Anusha said and all the languages are hard to speak 🗣️but Korean & Tamil languages are similar only some words and i am from north india but I stay in south it’s hard to pronounce some words properly 🤧anusha u did great ra we frds are proud of u 💜

Now Indonesian has become the 10th official language at the UNESCO general assembly. Many people think Indonesia languange is easy, but in reality it is very difficult because it has special language patterns.
Easy to get into, hard to master. But, in technicality, a language need to be easy to be a good lingua franca. People gonna need to use it as tool to communicate, so it need to be designed as easy as possible to be learned. That's why Indonesian language is great, because its a rare language where its completely designed from scratch. Hence, its easy to learn and pronounce since its designed that way. Some European linguist using Malayan frame and put many borrowed word and it evolved legally over the years to be as phonetic as possible with the least amount alphabet being used. Most other language is is keeping ancient pronunciation and grammar roots, making them hard to accurately being used for a three months learner. While Indonesian language is a basic phonetic style with no pronoun grammar system. I mean, our "Dia" is non-gendered version of english "His/Her". Not to mention the stuff like "Future continuous Tense" grammar rules, dissapearing consonants (try saying Hugh in France), or memorizing the gender of objects in France. We just simply slap in some suffix and prefix on base word and everyone get it.
ANU IS GOOD........AS AN INDIAN I SUPPORT HER AND THE WAY SHE SPEAKS TELUGU IS SO CUTEEEEEEEEEEE❤I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER SMILE AND EYES AND HER FASHION IS STUNNING TOOO SO HOT GORGEOUS I DONT KNOW TELUGU PEOPLE ARE THIS STUNNING❤❤❤❤❤🎉
@@LeylaOzden-fc1bi Most of them are Pali-Sanskrit words. It is formed by connecting several words. Words that have a good meaning are combined (first name must be no more than 5 syllables, last name should be no more than 10 syllables). Nicknames are often completely unrelated to the real name.
As a friend of Anusha the Indian girl I'm proud to be her friend. yes I agree with her that telugu is difficult language to learn when compare other languages . Nice show to watch
i thought it was interesting the word "jawab" in Indonesian means answer cause it is the same in hindi :0 i know that both languages borrow words from sanskrit so that's super cool :D i have an indonesian friend too and we were shocked how many similarities we had in our languages !!
I was expecting Indian girl can guess the meaning of Bangkok's full name, because it is all come from Sanskrit and Bali. And for me Bangkok's full name is a poem. In short, it means city of angel.
11:16 "Jawab" in Hindi also means "answer" (Hindi is one of the official languages of India). The Indian girl in the video speaks Telegu which is also one of the official languages of India.
As an Indian, I find the bangkok one to be the hardest. Indian language is easy to read as all main alphabets are only 52 and each alphabet is broken into associative sounds, like if we take Indian K alphabet, we called it K, and this K is associated to other alphabets like KA, KE, KO, KU, KI, and few other associations which are not huge in number and one you learn all versions of K alphabet, the same you do for rest of the letters, but even with other letters it be same pronunciation expect for main alphabet. Like KA and MA sounds different. Only because you pronounce K and M differently, but A letter sound associated to them will remain same.
Telugu is hardest language but beautiful tooo when u speak.......HAPPY TO SEE INDIAN THAT TOO A SOUTH INDIAN WHO REPRESENTS TELUGU IN KOREAN RU-vid CHANNEL IM SUBSCRIBING THIS CHANNEL... I HOPE I SEE THE TELUGU GIRL MORE IN THIS CHANNEL ....ITS VERY FUNNY AND FELT GOOD WHEN THEY PRONOUNCED TELUGU WORD 😂😂😂
"Tanggung" in this case is more like what you have to do or act or say. Not "almost there". In this case. Though, the term "almost there" will suit in other cases and it will be translated as "tanggung" as well
Actually Vietnamese language has monosyllable and polysyllable words. In early Vietnamese, there were dashs (gạch nối) between elements in a polysyllable word, e.g. cà-phê (coffe), cách-mạng (Revolution). Then in modern time, we do not use it any more due to too accustomed of it, e.g. cà phê, cách mạng. I suppose that the Vietnamese girl said the longest monosyllable word, approved by the Vietnamese official education. The longest polysyllable word cannot be accounted because people always arrange and create new words. In my opinion, điện-thoại-thông-minh (smartphone) is the longest polysyllable word in Vietnamese
Let me say the Bankok full name in thai and other that i can speak Thai :
It would depend on if they can find another person who speaks other Indian languages in Seoul, South Korea, probably a student or expat, who is willing to take part in such a video. 😅Easier said than done. The channel is based in Seoul and all the guests so far are like people living/working/studying in the country.
Krungthepmahanakorn=the land of god "heaven" Amornrattanakosin=the legend of the god Mahindra=the supreme god indra Ayuthya=the land of peace Mahadolokpobnopparat=the nine gemstone of the greatest of greatest Ratchathani=land of king Burirom=land of preasant Odomratchaniwet=the great palace of king Mahasathan=the large place Amornpiman=palace of god Awatansathit=god living place Sakkathattiya=the place Indra request vishnu build Vissanugamprasit=vishnu create the land of god
I think the Telugu girl didnot break the word at the right place. The whole sentence is " Dhooma chakra sakata aagamana nirgamana nivasa sthalam" The literal translation is A smoke producing machine with wheels coming, going and resting place i.e train resting place which is railway station. Dhooma = smoke, chakra= wheel, sakata=machine, aagamana= arriving, Nirgamana=going, nivasa= resting place or living place, sthalam= place Thank you everyone for patiently reading 😊😊😊
Finally epudu ardham ayendhi bhaiya aa word anto nani nani ante hindi lo ammammoo tollywood lo hero nani oo anatu vundhi .. This make sense n koncham tricky but still we can understand

As a thai myself, i can assure, that is Bangkok's full name, very long and hard to read. I can't remember all of them though it's too long and i don't think i ever seen any types of documents use that name😂
Always love to watch such video. Any languages in the world are very beautiful and unique. They have their own characteristic and pronunciation. All these girls from different country and they are all very beautiful. If you are from the English speaking country, try to learn some non English languages, and you will feel new experiences. This video shows Language is not the barrier for making friend from different country.
Indian girl reads full name of BKK in Sansakrit accent instead, so many words in Krungthep full name words that borrow from Sansakrit language from India too.
'mempertanggungjawabkannya' is not actually a standard word in Indonesian (based on KBBI (The Indonesian Dictionary)), 'mempertanggungjawabkan' is the normal word, but the longest word is Heksakosioiheksekontaheksafobia
U don't have eyes bruh ......we support our country young citizen. ur NO is nothing for us Who ever have eyes know that she is beautiful and gorgeous may be u don't have and u don't want to have eyes also............................
