The Philippine dish was almost like Cambodia ngl cuz Cambodian have rice with pork and something with egg too If I were to guess the dish between Cambodia and Philippine, I’d say their both almost the same. But pretty good gues from Sheldon
I am from New Zealand and we love Vegemite here too but it has to be toasted bread with heaps of butter and tiny spread of Vegemite. You need to try it again lol
Been watching you guys for 4 years now, seeing your growth, successes and also hardships.. The whole journey was a blast! Although your type of content changes a little bit, I'll keep rooting for you guys, hoping that one day you will receive even more recognition! (Still what you guys have accomplished so far are amazing already! Keep it up!) Mike always roasted everyone so hard tho, so I didn't notice his soft side until today when I saw the way he fed Sheldon and Edward. Like he tried to get a variety on the spoon so the guys have more clues to answer (not just a random spoon, for instance) and how Mike tried to help Edward put the food in back in when it's falling out (lol excuse my English today) Really caring indeed! An entertaining video as always! Again a standing ovation to the team!
Being from Sweden, I've never had salmon on my sandwich for breakfast. This is some boujie breakfast probably rich people eat or if you're eating at a hotel. Usually, we just have butter and another topping with it, such as cheese/ham/caviar etc...
Hahaha you're supposed to spread loads of butter on top of the toast & spread a tiny bit of vegemite - the saltiness of the vegemite complements well with the greasiness of the butter. But maybe Mike knew that and just trolled you both anyway haha
Not exactly a Mexican food fact, but something relevant: grains + legumes is a good food combination because they contain proteins that compliment each other to make a set of complete proteins. So combination like bean burrito, bean with rice would be a healthy choice for vegetarians to meet their protein choice :)
It was nice seeing chilaquiles making it on the video, it's a pretty good choice for Mexican breakfast as I used to eat it all the time when I was younger, seeing it made me crave some 😅
In the phillippines, we dont always eat meat rice or whatever every breakfast. Sometimes i eat porridge in a sort, sometimes champorado but what was presented looked alot like what would be served in the phillippines! We love our meat, rice, garlic and eggs
You guys are eating Vegemite wrong :( On bread, spread some butter and then get a small bit of vegemite and lightly spread that on top. This way is how we actually eat it. Toasting the bread can also make it better
As a British person who eats marmite, it frustrates me when people put too much on the bread/toast and they wonder why it tastes bad. You're supposed to spread it thinly. 😅
overaal score: 1st:malaysia (10 points) tied for 2nd sweden and philipines (9 points) 3rd:china (8 points) 4th mexico (4 points) 5th australia (2 points) ( im from malaysia im glad you liked the nasi lemak!)
pretty sure Australian breakfast would have weet-bix and milk with a side of TOASTED BREAD+butter+vegemite, not just plain bread and vegemite. Australians were done dirty on this video. you went to such lengths to make all the other dishes accurate but when it came to Australia you were like "meh who cares"
You know you’re a real asian when you hand your buddy asking for water: a ceramic bowl of water! ...and then the same bowl to your other buddy 😂 #frens4eva lol
Normally Mexicans use "older" tortillas to make the nachos for the chilaquiles, like the ones that have been in the fridge for a while. If you use new tortillas, the nachos will lose the crispy flavor faster. That's the secret to make crispy chilaquiles lol And as a Mexican Chinese myself, I gotta say I believe chinese food feels healthier because it actually uses every food group in one meal. In the other hand, mexican food feels a bit heavier. Idk
