Right?! I can get a box of crab for $24 or a tiny little french toast sandwich that I could have made at home in 20 minutes. What's crazy is if you point out how ridiculous these prices are people will either say "if you broke then just say that" or "it's worth it for the experience" 😂
@@buddylee5712 Yep, that's the cult of capitalism and the propaganda of media: why shouldn't I spend more money if I have money to spend? Pay $400 for shoes that cost $12 to manufacture, why not? You can afford it. Pay $1000 for a $50 steak from Salt Bae? Why not, it's an experience. Pay $1800 a month on a Hellcat? Why not, you _deserve_ something nice. Meanwhile 75% of Americans can't afford a $1000 emergency.
Hey Chimetime you should come back to Dallas for the State Fair of Texas - 09/29 - 10/22 and try to review all the fair food (as well as all the deep-fried craziness and bbq 😁) and the specialty drinks.
@@brwynn I respect your opinion. I do admit I’ve tried some things that I did not like, but there was some food there that I always enjoyed. That’s the whole reason why I suggested it because Chime is very honest and brutal in his reviews and I think it can make some good content. Have a great rest of your day and wishing you many blessings and prosperity 🙏🏾
I’m just going to go ahead and assume that the $23 price for the first place was for the French toast sandwich AND the lamb platter since they they came from the same place. If not then they out here committing HIGHWAY ROBBERY 😅
If you’re still on Dallas Southside…Sanfoka Kitchen Turkey Burger - Green Goddess smoothie - vegan cheesecake! Oak Cliff H&K BBQ across from Laurelland combo sandwich
Those prices are why most of us would rather cook at home or go to large chain restaurants. Small restaurant owners need to understand that if they're going to tax us, they need to at least give us large portions.
They can't. Unlike big chains, they usually don't own or have special deals with core suppliers unless they're local. And trust me, those king crabs ain't local! Well, unless you live in Alaska or northern Japan. Every step of the way from farm/ranch/fishing boat to your table has a markup. Core suppliers mark-up their catch/harvest for their time and to keep them in the black, the shipper does it, then the wholeseller, then the guy that buys from the wholeseller locally; some of these steps might sometimes overlap. Finally the restaurant adds their own markup.
Dude I can tell you truly feeling yourself in these latest videos. You just keep getting better at what you do and the more we see of you being you, the more there is to love. For real though, there is a big ass food hall off of Ponce Deleon in Atlanta. You gotta hit that joint up. Not to mention there is a lot of great food that is not to be slept on in Atlanta, period. MUCH LOVE TO YOU, AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO! ✌❤
To be honest he should probably have another food reviewer help him when trying this much stuff. How can eating all that back to back not mess up your palette & skew your opinion on whatever you eat last?
You need your own show broski lol your straight comical 😂😂😂😂😂. I'm in Dallas and I thought I knew a lot of spot but you put me into a few new ones to try good look out.
You must have a food warmer in your vehicle. Notice that you are in the same location trying different foods, which is cool. But cold food sometimes doesn't taste as well as it is opposed to eating it hot.
I should have sat here with a calculator tallying up that bag of food. When you've sampled a few dishes, yet say the next ones are delicious, that means they truly are delicious. I would imagine that your palate becomes desensitized to flavors the more things you sample. I enjoy your videos.
Thought ill add something. Idk how much you fly airlines. But if you want you should try the best different restaurants in airports. Since a lot of people travel.
