Btw, if you're staying near Guadalupe or Makati, there is a ferry service en route to the city of Manila from Guadalupe and vice versa. It might be an alternative on your next commute. The service can be availed on weekdays.

Interesting. The white "Sarapao" I used to eat in Thailand (often bought in 7-eleven) probably gets its origin in China after looking at the Siopao you bought in the shop at 11:48

Us Asians, we almost have similarities when it comes to the foods, fruits and veggies. I went home last year but I didn’t get to try to eat the fresh lumpiya and dumplings from Dong Bei. And We stayed in Binondo for 3 days. I will definitely go there and eat.♥️♥️♥️

The Pasig River Ferry ride from Guadalupe takes you directly to Binondo. Something to consider next time.

It's good that you visited Binondo. Chinatown Manila is raw. The streets are the same as 100 years ago. Cables were hanging, not manicured streets compared to other Chinatowns in the world. The only difference now: there are more high rise residential towers in the district.

You hit the right eating spots in Binondo. I found Quik Snack lumpia is better than New Po Heng though. Quick Snack is in that alley same as New Po Heng. Their ku chay pie is also to die for. Maybe next time.

I'm new to your channel and I'm so glad that you enjoyed exploring the neighbourhoods. Regarding talking inside the train, it's not like that always. Talking is okay inside the train. Maybe, it's just because of the pandemic. I haven't taken the train for the longest time as well since I worked abroad and I don't live now in Manila. I hope the one who hushed you did it in a nice way. More power to you two. Lyn's smile is so contagious especially in your BGC visit. I can see she did had a great time indeed. BTW, some restaurants in Chinatown have chinese-speaking service assistants. Dunno if they speak mandarin, cantonese or whatnot but yeah, Dan would've enjoyed speaking with them. We experienced in one of the oldest (if not the oldest) noodle shops there. The crew took our order and after that, he relayed his order to the people inside the kitchen in chinese. We're all so amused. We later know that he's one of the grandchildren of the ones who opened that shop. Others assisting were family members as well so that was one memorable night for us in the oldest chinatown in the world.
