I agree, now we can see the bottom of the dress better etc but it's a little to far for me personally to see all the details... I don't know, maybe it's an idea to give us the overall view but then when she talks about the details of the dress she could get just a little closer to the camera so we could see where she's talking about a little better?
I was honestly expecting you to say that you returned the prom dresses you didn’t wear but when you said you donated them I was just blown away.... as someone who got their prom dress at a consignment store, it’s such a cool and generous thing to donate such quality dresses for someone who can’t afford it full price ❤️❤️
That’s were I get all of my formal dresses there was a dress at Windsor for 99 dollars and the same dress was at Dillard’s and Macy’s for 180 at Macy’s and 200 somthing at dillrds

They shouldn’t be shamed if they did have surgery, either. I do remember hearing about a couple of them having surgery before, but I’d have to look again. The point is, she doesn’t need to be upset if she doesn’t naturally have that body! She’s gorgeous too.

2:48 The plastic bit at the hem of the red dress is call horsehair braid and you're right! It's used to help structure and give body to hems, hats and sleeves.
I love this video!!! 😁 I would advise maybe to wear heels instead of socks because it changes the whole shape of the dress and gives more of a look. The socks are a little bit distracting

I think with AliExpress it depends on the supplier. I bought my formal (Aus prom) dress from AliExpress and it was cheap and amazing! Had like 5 skirt layers and beautiful beading.

i just got my prom dress from there a couple of days ago. most of their long dresses are not fit for small people. i’m 4’9 and i rlly have to alter my dress. but the prices are great. and it goes hand in hand with the quality. so it’s a great store to shop for prom dresses.
second one looks AMAZING on mia! navy looks so good on her. also the thing she kept calling “lace” and couldn’t think of the word for is usually just called embroidered :)

I would say stay away from them. I odered two dresess and the were similar to the pictures but they were not what i paid for. They fitted wierd. They were the same price as Fashion nova dreses Mia showed here in her video. So i learned my lesson. 😅😅

I never went to prom because back then (I graduated about 10 years ago) there really weren't any affordable options other than the Goodwill dresses from 1970 and it makes me happy that cheaper dresses are easy to find nowadays that are totally wearable

The stuff on the underside of the 1st red dress is called horsehair, it’s used in garment making to support shape/volume. Also I’d love to see you try the dresses with heals to get the full picture
Regardless what she does/doesn't do in her own time is not our problem. So if she's stoned than let her be.. but it's not a fake concern. I just hope the sadness look in her eyes is just one of her days. Instead of just put unhappiness

(i cant remember exactly) $119 IS CHEAP CHEAPCHEAP IN MY EYES!! now i'm not regretful over my dress choice, i loved--still do love--the dress i chose... do i wish the price was immensely different??? YES.

Not a fan of the first red dress.. all I can think is the red dress dancing emoji. Really though the only ones I liked were the navy one and the last one. The navy one gave me more of homecoming, military ball or a captions dinner vibe. *loved the wide lens angle, would like to have also had a few close ups. Also the socks are very distracting. Dont have to wear heels but definitely no socks next time maybe lol. I think it would help a lot*

I graduated from hs 2 years ago. I bought a simple red prom dress for $500. Looking back I wish I didn’t spend that much money on it because there are so much prettier and cheaper dresses now that I see these videos . Ugh. ☹️
I spent 280 dollars worth of payments on an 800 dollar dress then didnt go. Im SO THANKFUL i didnt pay that much for a dress... thats completely insane looking back
