Hi Helen, I did 5:2 some years back and found it really effective, but over time I didn't continue and regained the weight I lost (and then some!) SW online worked for me - I've lost 25lbs and just reached my target. It's up to me though to maintain that now! I know what you mean when you say that 'free food' can lead you to eat when you're not hungry. That hasn't been the case for me really. I hope IF continues to work for you.

Hi 👋 my name is Kate but I use my husband account lol, I have been fasting for 3 years now and it really works for me, I start beginning of March and end about October because when the weather is cold I need more food, I am naturally more hungry in the winter, when I start I never drop any weight for 3 weeks but than it drops off, I was told that because I just lose fat and don't carry much water weight because I drink lots of water and pee all the time 😂 and I don't have much puffiness just fat on my bum,tum and hips ,I am slim everywhere else, all the women in my family are the same shape when we get in are late 30s until then thin and size 8,I remember getting to 30s and thinking the weight is going to pile on and it bloody did lol,you are doing really well keep it up and do the vlog end of April, Kate 😊❤

Good luck!! Slimming world will work if you can stick to it. I’ve been struggling to see any progress because I’m just not enjoying the plan but I’m really enjoying this and having that bit of discipline is good for me x

Well done on your weight loss. At the end of the day it’s how you feel isn’t it. Like you said you feel better and less bloated that’s all that matters. Keep up with the food diary’s. They are not boring they are real and consistent there’s nothing worse than having a recipe that requires 700 ingredients then to not use any of the ingredients again for another 6 months 😂

I find that Helen you don't always want breakfast i think thats why i like fasting but i have found after my tea I'm not snacking after i have my tea about 6,30 or 7 when you find out how many sins pasta is then you look at calories its a lot and they say you can eaþ as much as you like on sw but we do whats best for us take care and well done for your lost 🙋♀️👋👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰

I have been doing IF since September last year I was told only drinks during fast are black tea and coffee and water Not sure fruit tea etc helps ? I am not a doctor though so don’t quote me I feel so much better doing IF - I aim to do 16/8- if I can do longer I will but most time I am ready to eat !! I find having SKYR Yougurt twice a day with berries and protein powder helps curb the sweet tooth and protein powder helps with weightloss You are doing so well ❤
You are right!!! I just googled and you can have single ingredient herbal teas like peppermint but anything fruity can break your fast!! Thank you I didn’t know this x
@@babblingbythebrook it’s ok - I was drinking water with piece of lemon in it and was told can’t have it ! The weight will fall off - belevie me The benefits of it are great - I have 1500 calories a day - 150g protein - this is hard for me that’s why I have protein powder I have subscribed to Getfitwithrick on RU-vid and he saved my sanity ! My whole diet and IF with fab workouts have changed me Keep going yog will feel loads better xxxx
