I’ve done corner exit oversteer but never done drifting. That looked tricky, a whole load of whirling the wheel going on. Can only imagine the short wheelbase/ rear engine combination makes it a much quicker transition and the variety of moisture levels on track looked especially challenging. You gave it a bloody good go ffs Danny, hats off to you mate. As Madge said “God loves a trier!” 😂 sending tyres to hell corner by corner...
The 'dead spot' in the airbag spiral connector is so disconcerting in the POV vid! Thought the wheel was gonna come off in your hands for a second there!
Short wheel base car are always a pain in the ass to drift, the point of no return is so small that they wip around so fast, good effort, close up boy.
Good job!!! congrats! In the past i had a Mr2 and it's absolutely not good drift, is good for 360 spin. A simple bmw 320d with open diff is much more predictable and driftable
Hey Danny. Will it drift?🤔 This episode is like the automotive equivalent to 'Will it blend?'.😊 And now we know. You were definitely up for the task, but that was one hell of a workout.💪 Obviously, the MR2 was more than a handful out there, so seriously, well done, mate.👏 Shoutout to our good man Walter on the exterior footage, as well. Just an observation, but I believe he likes those S14s. Enjoyed the show as always my friend. I hope you have a great weekend.👈😎👉
Mate why did you delete half of your videos, looking for Volvo videos and your history again! Looking at buying a Leon and want to see your thoughts lol
can you tell me what shifter you are using ? i am currently swapping a 2zz + 6spd into my 86 aw11 and would like to run a similar style shifter ... thanks !!!
Doesnt he need more grip on the rear? Dont shoot me down - i dont claim to know but im calling more rear grip and and angle kit would help. Please correct me or let me know. Interested.
Danny's MR-S is track car. He just tryed his MR-S "drift-hability". So angle kit is un-necessar. Less grip on the rear make the car oversteer easily. Axles and transmission are less stressed.
