@@sarahtrees1 the very first thing that came to mind was a very tiny gun holster, and for every event where he seems not enough salt, he whips it open and bam salt
@@ani8925 I love uncooked garlic but the sight of how soft and smashable they got and just imagining their taste made me want to vomit also. I hate cooked garlic.
@@siantw8893 try milk and garlic. A simple home remedy that instantly cures bad coughs but tastes and smells like satan’s socks. Chop a garlic and pour it into a glass of milk and boil them. Good luck
I love how Naomi never has all the ingredients for things and just improvises 🤣🤣🤣 that really makes it feel like when you’re at your friends house and just doing a weird recipe for fun
That´s because the most trends are from the USA or asia and here in Germany you are not able to find the most ingredients. Or they are reeeeally expensive.
Pls stop telling my I should’ve crushed the garlic with the knife to peel it 🥺 I didn’t do that because the garlic was supposed to be whole and NOT crushed for the garlic confit 🥺
you don't need to crush that hard! Kkkkkkkk they will be whole still. If you want, you can also put the garlic in the water, will came out easy 🥰 love you
Kourtney's "avocado pudding" is literally a common filipino dessert served almost everywhere here in the Philippines, it is sometimes mixed with mangos and bananas as well. It's just weird seeing it being labeled as something....trendy??? I guess idrk lol.
The kardashians are known for stealing from other cultures and promoting them as their own trend. For example the Kim K braids are just black people braids.
@@antonialoos546 cultural apropiation? it's just avocado pudding, I don't think it's like a traditional plate ONLY in the Philippines, even in my country it's a thing (it's more like an ice cream though). I don't know why you have to label every fucking things as cultural apropiation
i'm confused who of the kardashians ever said they invented it?? they just brought it to yaals attention, it's not their fault alsmost noone seemed to know it. and did they ever say they invented box braids?..
We need to learn not to call youtubers unproblematic. It's a lot of pressure and not realistic to put someone on a pedestal. That's what happened with Miss Marbles.
Naomi: "Am I gonna be demonetized if I show a knife? You never know these days" Me: *mind goes straight to the channel of that dude who makes knives out of every material known to mankind*
When she ate the seed pod... You're supposed to take those out since the capsaicin (spicy chemical) is really concentrated there. The spicy chemical is meant to keep mammals away from them and let birds (who cant taste it) eat them. This is because the seeds pass through the birds unharmed and can grow wherever they're dropped.
@@theSkin_of_a_Killer_Bella No, you can still enjoy the spice from the other parts of the pepper and preparation of them involves removing it most of the time. Like it is stupid hot in the seeds even on milder ones and especially in super hot peppers, the concentration of the seed pod gets dangerous. If you're asking if capsaicin failed its job in making mammals not eat peppers however, you're completely right! But they still propagate successfully because of our desire for their flavors so I'd say they're doing just fine
Thank you for the science! It's quite interesting. Especially that part with keeping mammals away. Darwin's Evolution did not see homo sapiens coming. 😂
Fun fact, there is actually no capsaicin in pepper seeds. The heat you get from the "seeds" is actually from the pith that the seeds are on, not the seeds themselves.
In Germany we also have these sounds. As for the j-sound it's 'ch' - it could be pronounced as the x in 'Mexico' or as the j in 'jalapeño' (if you're speaking Mexican) 😊 And the 'ño' in 'jalapeño' is written 'jo' in German. So it would be written 'Chalapenjo' With this particular word we have same skills of pronunciation 😄
@@eintausendeinhundertelf2319 it's call Spanish.. Not Mexican hahaha only changes the version there are Latin American Spanish, Spain Spanish and so :)
@@gbnath I know its called Spanish. I also don't call Arabic as Arabic, if it's Syrian or Algerian ... Then it's Latin American Spanish :) But in Latin American Spanish it's written "Méjico" isn't it?
If you want to de-shell a lot of garlic at once, just put the separated cloves in a plastic tub/breadbox with lid, and shake it hard. :)! Love your vids!
No all of y'all are just pathetic and have short attention spans like the worlds leaders want. In the last 10 years, radio jingles, commercials, tv introductions, have all gotten %70 shorter. This timestamp culture only ads to it. And takes away revenue from Naomi. Sooo, y'all selfish.
My mom hates garlic so much she convinced my sister's and I we were all allergic to garlic when we were younger so she never had to bring it in the house. 🤣🤣
Naomi you need one of those steel bars of "soap". They're made of metal and when you "wash" your hands with them (aka rub them on your wet hands like a bar of soap) they remove smell like garlic, fish and whatever other bad decisions you make. Highly recommend.
Life hack: to remove the garlic smell from your fingers after you have peeled it, rub your fingers on the metal part of a spoon (or any metal cutlery) while you rinse under water, the smell will disappear in seconds ;)
Naomi eating "sweet avocado" for her first time and think it's strange. Me a brazilian discovering that they eat "salted avocado" and thinking WTFFFF ??¿?¿
In Vietnam we have avacado smoothies which is basically the same as kourtneys pudding except she used fancy products, you're meant to use a blender so it mixes and becomes smooth and creamy
so, here it's a fun fact, in Brazil (where i live) we eat avocados as a sweet thing, never with toast and salt, we do smothies with it, or eat it with powdered milk!
I like garlic, but I don’t know how people can eat a ton of it. Like when a recipe that’s not that big calls for like five cloves of garlic and I’m like damn dude that’s too much garlic 🧄 💀😂
The avocado one, in Indonesia we called that “Alpukat Kocok” its more nice if you use a little bit much of condensed milk, add some ice cube and blend it, if you love cheese, add some chesee on the top, btw i luvvv your vid ❤️ all the joke about accent is the best one in fact 😭😂
I grew up in so cal where you can get spicy food anywhere, and I’m so trained with spice at this point it was kinda funny hearing someone call takis spicy! I love how well versed she is on international food, it’s actually very impressive to see
With those avocado dessert things I always think that I have to keep in mind that those ladies haven't seen a real creamy dessert for decades so ofcorse this avocado tasted good
8:17 it's kinda weird because here, in Brazil we grown up drinking this avocado smoothie and we are not used to eat it on toasts or something like that. But, I think the type of our avocado is different from the one people usually use to make salty recipes. It's bigger and more yellow-ish inside. Well, it's delicious 😋
Fun fact! Avocado, coconut milk (or sweet evaporated milk) and crushed ice is a popular dessert in Thailand! (At least that’s what someone native to Thailand has said to me)
So I am not Mexican, but I love spicy food and I eat a lot of it because when you are Portuguese (what I am) you are basically fed spicy for the moment you turn 5 and takis are my favourite, but my little mouth is sensitive so tips and how to make it less spicy but still spicy? Like I would use cream cheese right?
@@sophia2375 a lot of cream cheese. Also getting rid of all the seeds/core of the chili. Another great trick is to let the jalapeños (already de-seeded) sit in olive oil for a few hours, they will lose some crunchiness but they're a bit less spicy that way (it has worked for me)
In Brazil, we eat avocado with milk and sugar! We use a mixer, and for most of us, the "strange" way to eat it is salty hahahhaha 🖤 sometimes we eat it with lemon and sugar, tastes reaaally good tho
my thougths from this video: 1) what is takis 2) people who don't eat garlic are just western spies 3) never seen jalapeňo 4) what is that sticky thing she wraps around the insanely large pickle
Watching this I just got more and more tense as Naomi got closer to the end of the pepper. 😹 My mom used to make stuffed jalapeños with her friend's home grown ones and they were a /gamble/
So glad you made jjajang myun. It’s one of my most favorite dishes. I love the instant version too! You might be able to find the right fresh noodles in the Korean refrigerated noodle section. At the restaurant we went to growing up, jjajang myun was served with thinly sliced cucumber on top and the crunch is good!
When she said the jalapeño wasn’t that spicy I was like girllllllllllll🤪 it depends on the jalapeño you get, you have to get the correct ripeness. And also, the seeds is what makes it spicy for the most part, so you basically took the spicy out 🥵
In Brazil we ate sweet avocado and tastes so amazing! We blend the avocado with milk and sugar. The texture is so smooth. Also our avocados are much bigger. Savory avocado isn't that common here.
