Tsukihime's BEST Adaptation Is... THE MANGA?!

But the manga is where I fell on love with the story of tsukihime to read the entire vn. And it's well documented that nasu felt the same, on record considering it the perfect "tsukhime" back when it ended(since he considers tsukihime itself arcs story)

The manga is god tier. Honestly it's so great it makes it superflous to read Near Side at all. Not only does it adapt Arc's route, it also fixes all the few problems, OG Near Side had. Plus it utilizes everything the VN has and builds not only a fantastic adaptation from it, it also works well on its own merits. As far as I'm concerned, THIS is the definitive version of Arcueid's route. Remake should have taken more notes from this manga than just one scene.

As a vn reader the manga is way better than the first route.

The Manga was genuinely so good Reading shiki's slow descend into madness from looking death in the eyes and his nanaya instincts forcing him to kill His genuine pain when he thought he was possessed by roa is so human and his love for these small moments in life made him such an enjoyable character Ciel and akiha were badassess in their own right and oh my God arcuied is such a fantastic character Still kinda confused about the ending though

I was watching otaludaikun's video on Tsukihime lore to prep for playing MBTL, after about 5 minutes in I realized that I wanted to read it. So I paused the video, and went to read the manga. Eight hours later, I finished reading the tsukihime manga, which is the first manga I ever read the whole way through. It blew me away with how tightly written and satisfying the story is. I have some gripes here and there of course, (mainly with Nero Chaos,) but I overall loved it. Apparently I picked a good first manga to read.

Nero is actually how nrvquarjgjbknjvfr is pronounced. Yes it doesn’t make sense.

I love this manga. Arcueid route in the vn was always flawed, but this piece of art just perfected it and is also the best way to experience it... well it was until a couple weeks ago. I've recently finished reading Arcueid route in the remake... kino. Heard that Ciel route is even better, which is good, because problem with Ciel route in the og was that it was basically Arcueid's route with a few changes.

I completely forgot this was a thing and it’s been sitting on my must read list for the better part of 3 years. Hehe I think I’ll be reading this soon. Or it could be 3 years who knows.

I love the manga version so much and the one thing i think deserves the most praise is its ending because its very perfectly open ended like is shiki actually still alive did shiki and arcueid actually reunite or is arc dreaming all of it while chained in castle brunestud or what like it's open-endedness is so perfect that your headcanon for what actually happened could actually be the true ending and the best part is it will never get fucked up by a sequel or another adaptation since this is already an adaptation

According to the lore confirmed by Remake: Arcueid is around 800 chronologically, Under 20 biologically and has been awake for less than an year in total since her creation. So one could argue that Shiki is taking advantage of an infant if not for the fact that she is kind of like an AI as she comes pre-programmed with knowledge of the world. Additionally Arcueid falling for Shiki quickly is canon. Being killed by Shiki broke her in a way as the sheer agony of having to remake herself piece by piece distracted her from her prime directive (so to speak) of killing vampires and her kinda-sorta sole emotion of hating/disliking Roa for stealing her power and tricking her. While Arcueid justifies her dislike for Roa as an extension of her purpose as the vampire killing vampire, she cannot think of a reason as to why she keeps thinking about Shiki. This leads to her being fascinated by him and THAT is the real reason she finds him and makes him take responsibility for killing her. After that she starts caring for Shiki as this is the first time she has interacted with anyone outside of business. That quicly evolves into romance. As for why Shiki falls for her: Well... do I really need to explain that? And in such visual novel stories the romance starts very very fast. But really, writing this I can't help but feel like Shiki is exploiting Arcueid's emotionally immaturity. Also side note: According to the Type-Moon wiki for Arcueid her cousin is "Excalibur". You know Saber's Excalibur.

I’m Japanese and i just finished playing both the arcueid and ciel routes. They were both very good! I think the manga is really good but the remake Tsukihime arcueid route is even better!

yall are tweaking, theres always ppl complaining about Nrvnqsr, I like how strange it is, it makes him more mysterious, Nero is less appealing in my opinion. I also like how there's no vowels at all.

I honestly think the reason why Type Moon don't localise the VNs of both Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night is because they're lazy.

Tsukihime remake arc route broke my heart. In 17 pieces. Then I read the manga. I am happy again. The manga is canon.. Right? Right?
