Superbike race 1, 6 laps, 226 miles and plenty of time for problems! Dave shows you behind the scenes insight to what really goes on at the famous TT races. obsessionengineering.co.uk/ www.rapidtraining.co.uk/
You can't win a race in a pitstop but you can lose it. Prophetic words Dave! I think I'd have left the Island before Dunlop got back if I was the one changing that!
Excellent video, nothing can duplicate the feeling you get watching a rider your with at the TT or Manx pull away and start a race, then there being stood on pit lane with the fuel nozzle waiting to re fuel the bike and all this For me was my first time at the Manx. Great video Dave and all the team.
Loved the thought provoking shots of Mark up on the road, You would always find me, sitting with my back to that wall having a smoke on my pipe, to just chill out, And well done to Julian for bringing the little Aprilia home to today in a good 13th, i think it was, Well done to the Team,
Lots of comments on numerous blogs and vlogs re MD visor issue. I would imagine his visor man is now the person everyone would want, he certainly would ensure the visor is fitted super correctly going forward.
Thank you Dave for the update fingers crossed fro the rest of the races hope your having fun and enjoying the time away from BSB! Cheers from sunny 102 degree Southern California!
I thought MD would have been excluded in any other race, pulling over and removing your helmet on a live circuit is a big no no, I'd have pulled in to a side road first
@@obsession_engineering aria use to have a system where you could change the visor so easily, then they complicated it with some levers, next the totally screwed it up with the side pods having to pop off.
A lot of swearing is correct. Not very complimentary of his visor man. Not the fault of Arai but the "fecking idiot" and i quote from MD at the side of Bray hill. Keep up the good work Dave 👍
Thanks for the update. Shame about the outcomes there but saw Messrs Weedon and Trummer were up there today on the twins, or is that a bit of a spoiler..?😬
Most riders run 2 or 3 tear offs, but will need more if there's lots of bugs about. Some days it's like riding in the rain coming up through areas like water works, the bugs are so busy!
@@obsession_engineering I guess everything gets different when racing! I don't remember ever having problems like that from riding on streets. Although, I knew somebody who got hit in the face by a bat at night🦇. Must be amazing to ride those roads, much less race on it. I bet less than 1 in 10 million people ever get to do that.
Arai helmets can be a common problem sidepods they the design on the helmet before sidepods tabs used to break now on newer helmets they still pop out arai please look at a new design
Love it, thanks for the updates 🫡gutted for MD but motorsport is about winning and ‘not winning’ together as a team and I think that race showed his maturity. Of interest, what is your outright PB around the TT course on that BMW please Dave?
