Welding is not difficult, it is a skill that requires practice. Some people get it easier others take longer. Depending on personality every one finds something special in this line of work. For someone, it is all about making decent money without making big efforts on academic education, for others it is a challenge that they need to conquer and for other people it is a skill that allows them to create. @@weld-deluxltd7635 Ive been on the lookout for a welding rig, I can across a Transteel 2200 for €1800 it's about £1550 with MIG, Tig, MMA leads and a ground clamp. Good condition little used guy says only 5kg if wire went through it. Comes with 4 spare nozzles and a bag of tips. And a decent looking welding Trolley. Do you think it's a good option.

@@deepwinter77 hard to say, here is things to consider. 1. Can you afford to loose £1550 ? You must be able to afford the purchase, it is critical to understand the difference between I need and I want. If you can comfortably afford to spend that amount on the tool that you may never end up using beyond playing around for couple of month. Google search showing that those are for sale for around £1900 ish + vat. 2. Do you have adequate power supply? Will it need 3 phase? 3. Are you aware What kind of MIG torch is on the machine, ISO or Fronius? Fronius socket can only take guns from Fronius and if you damage one it is expensive compare to standard ISO. 4. Are you aware that TiG will have no high frequency start, so scratch start all of way? 5. Can you collect the machine and see it working? Over years I see a lot of scammers on eBay (500+ reviews) reported few of them to the eBay. Got burned ones about 5 years back, police started the case but I never heard of them £3000 lost forever. It is a good machine, no question there. Do you need one or is it a good one for you to get, that only you can answer. Hope it helps!
