Always good to learn stuff young man even though at the moment I do not have a Tig welder or a 4 roller drive Mig. I have tried welding aluminium with Mig in the past and struggled because the wire I chose was much thinner than what you have used in this video and the Mig welder was not fitted with a four roller wire feed system. One day, I hope to get a Tig welder. Top regards and thanks for uploading the lesson in welding aluminium!

Sure, if aluminium Mig wire is smaller then 1.2mm it becomes incredibly difficult. You can also use 2 roller drive but it is much harder and you also have to use Teflon liner for the torch

@@weld-deluxltd7635 Yes, I bought a blue teflon liner but as you say the wire 0.8mm if I recall correctly kept birds nesting. That and not getting the aluminium really clean using acetone didn't help. It was an old livestock trailer and a complete nightmare to do. Never again, not until I get a Tig welder at least!

Nice one, remember power is your friend when it comes to Aluminium welding! Fumes are deadly and flash is supper bright. What amperage machine did you get?

MIG is Trans synergic 500 and TiG is Magic wave 250

Excuse me..it's not only because of the push pull system..its actually a CMT process..and its really damn good with thin material especially aluminium..

Thanks for the comment. This is not CMT process, you have them confused
