Its been since pre pandemic that I've beaded. I wanted to do a chenille and watched a couple of other videos and stopped and said "Where's Jill. I need Jill." Found the original video you taught me 7 years ago and now you just taught me again. I hope y'all survived the pandemic well. Yall were certainly set up for virtual. Thanks! (Lordy, 7 years ago and I was the last one to post back then. Weird.) Seven years???? Wow.
Jill, You are my favorite beading instructor. Just a few descriptors of how I feel about your teaching style: You remove doubt and instill confidence, you make it look easy, you are thorough and you provide the most helpful tips and advice. Now..on to trying out the Chenille Stitch..thanks so much Jill!
I found you this morning and have been watching your videos all day while seperating my seed beads from an old kids loom project I had. Took two years to get it done but I cant wait to get started on some of my own stuff.
Love your tutorials, Jill! I have to laugh at myself though, after 5 hours of not GETTING IT, I slept on the steps of the video and mastered it this morning!
You are so fabulous, and so are your tutorials!!! Thank you so much for your refreshing, relatable manner, your ease, your grace. I love learning with you.
Hi Jill! I'm pleased to say that after several hours and almost a dozen restarts.... I got it! It's addictive and easy once you get past the start. It has a real rhythm to it once you get going! Love it Kathy Thank you for sharing
I had originally posted a comment on a parisian lights tutorial I saw on another channel, then realized the tutorial was several years old.. I hoped you would see it anyway, but today I came across your actual channel, and I am SO thrilled. Here is the comment I left for you before, but have since deleted. "I'm new to your channel, and I have to say, you are an excellent teacher. I have mostly been doing loom work, bead crocheted purses, tapestries, etc. Doing bead work by hand always scared me a little, because the patterns looked intimidating to me. After watching a few of your videos, and actually making one of your bracelets, I am SO glad I found you. Thank you so much. I understand so much more than I thought I could going into this. Thank you. Thank you. 💗💗💗 " I want to say again how happy I am to have found your channel. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
You are definitely my favorite instructor. Your techniques are easy to follow and very descriptive. I tried the Chenille stitch and love the way it turned out!! Thank you!!
Watched your vid just over an hour ago and already have about 3 inches. I did start with two similar colors and started over. Definitely use 2 distinctive colors when learning it. As I talk myself thru each row, I say "thru the sticky outy" out loud. My fur baby doesn't mind. 😁 it's very loosey goose to work with. I usually bead tight. Thanks for making it so easy.
Love your vids. So easy to understand. Always come back to your channel whenever i get stuck or want to try something without the stress attached. xoxo

June, I'm with you on the sticky outey descriptions. My mom used to say "the thing" and somehow I always knew what she was talking about. Love ya, Jill!
hi jill I love the chenille stitch I'm working with swarovskis and I want to do a rainbow bracelet but im not sure how to blend the colours... do you have a video for that at all.. thanks
Neither could I, but within a round or two, I got it. I thought it may have been because she went counter clockwise- whatever, I am glad that I can make this. Thanks to Jill!
Can wait to try this stitch. It was nice seeing you at the bead and button show. (I was the one with the freshwater pearl necklace). What necklace do you have on in this video? What colors did you use. Could there possibly be a kit?? Thank you for sharing your talent. Louise.
Thats like peyote, i made a pair of earrings similar and did the stitch i. Ditch it worked out to make hoop earrings. I hoped to turn it into a dream catcher pendant or earrings so far they are just hoops
bonjour ça prend des 11 o pour la chenille ...merci pour tout du Québec Florence hello it takes 11 o to the track ... thank you for everything Quebec Florence
Hi Jill, I was wondering if there was a chance that I could see this chenille stitch a little slower. Unfortunately by the time I finish trying to do this while watching the video everthing is a mess. It's just a little fast
Did you know that you can adjust the playback speed on the video? You can! If you're on a computer, hover your mouse over the video and look at the bottom left menu options that pop up on the top of the video. You're looking for the little gear icon (on my screen it's the fourth from the right). Click the gear, and then choose Playback Speed. You have multiple options for playing it slower or faster than normal speed! If you're on a mobile device, you'll tap the video screen to get the overlay options to show, and again, click the gear icon to get to the Playback Speed. On mobile the gear is at the top right of the video screen.
I love how you dont bla bla bla and we dont have to sit through 3 minutes of yada yada yada im so and so, please give me likes, im using bla bla bla materials....For me the ideal video is showing us how to bead immediately and just putting any specifics in the description part...Awesome flipping geode lady!!
