As a culturally Western, spiritually Eastern Anglo-Ruthenian I can certainly concur this is a topic that is little understood in the contemporary West. As somebody who grew up there I can confirm the veracity of the information. It is a complicated subject, few people know anything at all about Ruthenia, Ruthenian or Ruthenium. My hat is off to you, Good Father.

It's used as a political battering ram to shame the Ukrainian people for siding with Germany in WWII under the promise of freedom from Communism. Curious how Putin's history makes no mention of the Holodomor. Let alone the over half million Hiwis (White Army Russians) who voluntarily joined Nazi army to fight against Stalin during Operation Barbarossa. His entire thesis about the "founding of Ukraine under Stalin" is blatantly false considering that his historical lens is under the Primary Chronicle, a Russian history written hundreds of years after the fact by the ROC to justify the "Third Rome" theory. No mention of the Cossack state or the UPR either.
There was a huge collaboration between many Ukrainian nationalists and the Nazi regime. Likewise, during WW2, some Ukrainians joined the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS, serving as accomplices in ethnic cleansing, the Holocaust against Jews, and ethnic cleansing of Western Ukraine during WW2. There were also paramilitary death squads doing the same thing during the war, and many of the “heroes” of such groups are celebrated in Ukraine with statues and songs. In the 21st century, military units such as the Azov Brigade and the Tornado Brigade used the swastika, Nazi ideology, torture mass executions and ethnic cleansing in Eastern Ukraine in 2014, after the Ukrainian government declared Russians in the Donbass region as- essentially- enemy aliens. Open season ensued. Further, Vladimir Zelensky is a one party leader who has banned all political opposition, imprisoned people without trial, any dissenting media, enforcing recruitment into the military, and which recently allowed Western journalist Gonzalo Lira to die in jail. Zelensky is a petty totalitarian dictator, backed by the US-NATO, Blackrock, and endless foreign money.

If a journalist reports on fax, then they are doing their job. When a journalist states things which are demonstrably not facts, but are recycled propaganda claims of a belligerent nation then that is what we call pushing a narrative. That is exactly what Mr. Carlson did with regard to these following three claims: His unsupported claim that the Ukrainians blew up the Kakhova Dam, that Ukraine persecutes Christians, that Ukraine is a fascist state.
So keep sending billions to Ukraine? …I’m a hard “no” . This continues to be a regional conflict. We are escalating. The religious angle you are taking would supports that.
Dear Father, when I think about UKR situation, I think that in any case, from the Biblical perspective, usually God allows wars as a remedy for the nation that sins a lot. I was listening to Bible in the year and that place where Israel wanted to fight against Babylon looked to me exactly or at least very similar to UKR situation. False prophets wanted to go to war, but Jeremiah warned them that if they will do that, whole nation will be annihilated. Instead, Jeremiah told them to accept the captivity as the just punishment for the sins and as a repentance. So what we see today? While fighting, UKR is trying to legalize rainbow laws and already whole generation of young men is deleted from the face of the earth...
