Great vid Steve! Apparently most ships omit the number 13 from their decks due to triskaidekaphobia - the fear of the number thirteen. Riders in the Tour de France turn the number 13 upside down on their jerseys for the same reason!

Those are both very interesting facts, I might have to use these on my next cruise flog 👍, I didn’t even know there was a word to describe that fear of the number 13. Who send cruising can’t be educational, love a good fact. 👍😀🛳️

Hello I have seen a few videos on this ship and urs is fare the best well done. I have booked this ship for March 2026 Can not wait just hope the person I am taking don’t get sea sick will be picking up the ship from Spain Keep up the great work 🎉 J J

Thank you very much, it’s good to know, I’m improving my vlogs and learning each one I put up on RU-vid. My partner suffers badly with sea sickness, one of the reasons it’s taken me 12 years to convince her. She went on her first one last last and loved it, and the biggest thing she never suffered any sea sickness! She wears sea bands if she does, also takes ginger tablets 4 weeks before the cruise and during the cruise, maximum strength ones, we also take ginger tea bags with us and we both have one in the cabin every morning. Anything ginger, ginger biscuits, ginger beer also helps. Green apples is also a good one. It’s amazing the difference it makes for her, even on rough days she is fine know, gone are the days where she would be feeling really sick on a boat or ship now, it’s incredible.
