After you stun the fish, cut the gills, let it bleed out in bucket of seawater, then cut out gills and gut before you ice down with seawater slushie ice. Much better fish quality!! :) Tight Lines!! Add a little olive oil to your butter, it helps it not to burn on high heat.
Hey guys, just want to share with you about the vacuum sealer. I use a different one. However I never put my fresh meat directly into the food saver. I do a quick freeze of my catch, then place it into the bags and seal because it the natural flavors to be locked in
Hey guys love the segment on tuna Reubens, try next time blackened the tuna on the grill and add some chilled mangos slices for a touch of sweetness. Just moved to St.Augustine Florida looking forward to doing more fishing throughout the state hope to meet you guys one day.
Awesome idea! Wish I had fishing like that available to me. You should consider doing your own pickling as well. Radishes, cabbage, red onions and lotus root are pickled staple in our house and good hecking god is it as easy as it is tasty!
Both of you are so talented. If you do not have a media agent,it is time to proceed in that direction. You need to be on television where your skills can really be appreciated by a much wider audience. No worries, you CAN do this !
Enjoy your videos very much. I can't wait until I can be able to do the same thing. I live 6 hours from the coast in NC, but hopefully after I finish college next year I can move to the coast. Always been my dream and I have plently of gear lol. All I do is fish on vacation and bass, crappie, and catfish here at home
I will be down in August and fishing out of Hillsboro Inlet. I have been following you for a while and have been so much more successful from your tips. I live near J&H and will be picking up some white bucktails before I come down.
Nothing but respect my man! Great video as always! Will likely have to good ahead and pull the trigger and buy a FoodSaver. Keep up the good work and by the way, love my shirt I ordered!
Hey Vic, when you're bottom fishing, what length of leader do you use between the hook and your weight? Basically, I'm looking for a "rule of thumb". Any advice you can give would be appreciated.
Oregon does not allow live bait, but people from other states bring non native species for bait which contanenates lakes and streams so no live bait even in the ocean . my favorite bait for sturgeon is squid.
Man the decision to put some wire between the hook and Flouro is always a tough one. Do you risk less bites from Sails, Tuna, and Mahi for greater chance of not losing Kings or a possible Wahoo? I think it depends on how the day is going. Those vacuum sealers are the best. Blackfin tastes pretty much the same six months later. Great video Vik. Tight lines
Awesome video Victor really enjoy watching your channel you have great tips and you always are on the big fish I just started my own RU-vid channel about 8 months ago and I learned a lot from what you and Brooke talk about on your Channel I really enjoy my FoodSaver.
That looks so amazing. Holy crap! Might have to get a good saver too after watching this. I’m out of PSL. Love this channel. Just started fishing and just subscribed. Will def mention this to other fishermen
Love the video guys! Why did I have to watch this while eating Wendys?! Hey you should think about coming up to Homosassa for Scallop Season! Starts in 3 weeks and is a good time!
that would depend on what you fish for to be honest, fast moving fish often like fast moving baits while some slow lazy bottom fish dont like to chase there bait
