If you do a tuner your trucks, use this guy. Dad had him do custom tuner 12-15 years ago. Still had dads info on of the truck and the programs he installed. I’ve emailed several times asking various questions. Responds quickly and so far answered every question question I asked. This is not an advertisement, it’s a statement.
I run my wastegate disconnected. It’s not welded or anything. I just disconnect the vacuum line.i hit 20 psi all stock just exhaust and a first generation wicked wheel
Yeah I got a bully dog tuner in my truck and all my buddies have been saying get the hydro and actually a mechanic that my gfs dads shop that he works at told him my tuner is tearing apart the motor and I don’t fully understand cause with my tuner you can’t do a 1-7 it just connects to the gauges for tranny and engine temp and I don’t fully understand why or how it has the factory turbo making 32lbs of boost and rolls coal like nothing and I have raced stock 6.7s and I have smoked them at lights the other thing I noticed I could change is like a reaction time of the throttle when I was playing with the tuner

You’re good with this man as long as you load of the stock tune before heading into smog. Done it twice here in Napa California for my old girl. Modified turbo and dieselcite built trans still pulling strong at 400k.
I'm from Pa, and it gets even worse the closer I to the NE you get, when I go out to Ohio I don't want to come back because it's roads are so much nicer than Pa
